eye of the beholder is finished!
In November of 2024 I started writing eye of the beholder, a fanfic based off the video game Jedi Survivor that picks up at the end of the game, where all the canon events still happen, but for one added detail, which of course, changes everything.
There's lightsaber combat, family dynamics, Force fuckery, tons of elemental Force metaphors, a smidgen of body horror, and smut. It requires you to have played the game to completion and to be open to a relationship between Cal Kestis and Bode Akuna. There's a fair bit of romance in it, if I do say so myself.
Spoiler for those of you who haven't played the game: But Jen, you say, isn't Bode dead at the end of the game? Why yes, that's true. That's part of the story. (I promise there are no zombies, though.)
I started posting this in April of 2025, so it's only taken a year to complete, lol. I made friends promise to nag me to work on it, which helped! It's officially the longest thing I've finished, and it has a happy ending, which is, to me, the best way to end things.
