The reason its haunting me is the inevitability of this betrayal. There is nothing Cal could have done to make Bode not give Cere's Archive and the Hidden Path over to the Empire. Not even deciding the best use for Tanalorr would be to queitly disappear to a place a survivor of the Jedi Order can no longer be hunted.

I have a striking memory of Bode calling out the fact that Cal was a child soldier. Which Cal was! But it was the biggest clue to how he felt about the Order. Which is nothing positive. Because the Empire is hunting him, but the Jedi Order is as much at fault for his situation. I'm positive Bode saw all those Jedi texts and just boiled with anger that it was being preserved. The way he shot Eno Cordova and then fucking bombed him was so extreme to me. So full of resentment.

And fuck. He resents Cal for remaining a Jedi. He's so fucking angry about Cal being a Jedi. He thought Cal was ready to stop and lay down his lightsaber, but then Cal finds a second wind for the resistence. Cal is a Jedi down to his bone marrow.
