Bode Akuna headcanons/fic ideas
Spoilers for Jedi Survivor under the cut
Bode's original lightsaber was a guard shoto.
He was noted for his low (sentient) kill count during the war by those in the know.
He did a few missions with Quinlan Vos.
Handing his blaster, a personal object, over to Cal was the risk on which basically everything afterwards hinged. Bode wrestled with feelings of disappointment when this actually worked - a part of him had been almost hoping to be found out.
He was so good at hiding in/from the Force that only with his death did emotional impressions from him fully start to filter back out into the universe.
Genuinely found it impossible to tell if Kata was Force-sensitive or not. He could sense her, obviously - in fact was trained on her near constantly when he had the opportunity. But he'd formed such an attachment to her that he legitimately had trouble telling where Kata's presence in the Force ended and his began.
He doesn't know what slipped and got the Inquisitors on them and it keeps him up at night. Was it him?
Tayala was someone he'd known during the war, also in 'intelligence'. Their marriage was initially a cover they mutually decided on very quickly as the Empire was taking shape.

Bode's master was very, very much a hardline non-attachment type, along the lines of the Dark Woman or Jon Antilles in believing that even a personal identity was too much attachment. Bode was as well. Having a family was an extreme swing for him.
He was almost a Temple Guard as he had the temperament for it, but essentially had his career decided for him by his aptitudes for communications technology and piloting
His telekinetic abilities were never really anything to write home about. A padawan Bode would have sheepishly laughed off the idea that he could rip gouges out of solid stone structures.
