I lost my motivation and confidence to write. Part of it was my sensitivity to criticism, and the other part was that work became such a major stressor this year that I never had the energy to do anything else (except work out and play video games lol). I still put Snape in Situations in my head (some of which are with an OC), but whenever I think about sitting down and writing, I just cringe and want to hide. I don't know why it's so hard considering that I was writing consistently for like a year 3 years ago. Was I good at it? Probably not, but being at least a little bit cringe is part of the game, and I genuinely enjoyed doing it. But now, I can't even bring myself to write a few sentences, even if I don't intend on sharing it with anyone :( I suppose I have an all or nothing approach and am not giving myself the space or grace to be bad at something that's supposed to fun.
