will they won't they (end this farce). there's only one bed (but for some reason they don't really want to share it). out of context eavesdropping (that paints the relationship in a better light than it deserves). chasing after them to stop them getting on that plane (and stopping them from finally being free)

nobody understands my vision i don't mean any old story where a relationship fails and it's tragic or w/e i mean a story where the intention is for the audience to root for it failing the same way u root for it succeeding in a romance. & when the relationship finally implodes at the climax of the story it's all very cathartic & everybody cheers.

Towards the end of the quarantine episode, it's revealed that Charlie didn't realize they were trapped, and just thought they were playing Quarantine. This begs the question, in how many episodes is Charlie under the impression that none of this is real and that they're all just playing pretend together?

From Charlie's perspective, he has a group of friends who loves playing games and making up stories together. We're gonna play Home Makeover. Then we're gonna play Online Dating. Then we're gonna play Pyramid Scheme. He wants very little out of life so he rarely minds the consequences. "Success" in any of these ventures to him mostly just means they won the game and did a good job. The others are usually making genuine schemes based on actual desires, and Charlie does this too from time to time, but most of the time he's just having fun playing with his friends.

always sunny sounds like one of those shows where it's like "These two characters named Shits and Farts make shit and fart jokes at each other and then the fandom hallucinates a bunch of emotional depth" but then you watch it. and you realize the writers really did give Shits and Farts that much emotional depth and even their dumbest jokes are realistically grounded in childhood trauma and mental illness and if anything the fans aren't digging as deep as they could

How am I supposed to be normal about Mac and Dennis when Mac has a strong need to worship (and a weirdly homoerotic relationship with christianity) while Dennis refers to himself as a God,,,
