₊⊹ ♡ thinking about gentle olderhusband!levi and your cat in the mornings

levi’s lips tasted like tea with a hint of cinnamon as you two kissed under the morning light. you were under the warm covers of your shared bed, the blanket enveloping you in a warm hug as you shared loving, deep kisses. levi’s hand found your cheek as his thumb caressed your cheek, the feeling of his warm tongue tasting your mouth carefully with precision.

his hand left your cheek, but instead he wrapped his strong, muscular arm around your smaller body and pulled you closer to him. his bare skin was soft but cold against yours, making your own skin shiver just a little.

levi pulled back a little, his thick eyelashes hovering over his pale eyes. you caressed his smooth cheek with the back of your hand, before you leaned in to give a small kiss on his sharp nose.

”you want breakfast in bed? i could make another cup of tea for myself too” levi suggested with a hint of a smile on his lips. he didn’t often show his affection through words – he wanted to show his love with small gestures like that.

”sure” you chuckled and wrapped the blanket tighter around you as you watched him get up.

soon levi arrived with a tray. he was only wearing a pair of shorts, his strong chest and round shoulders tightening from the weight of the tray. to your surprise, your young cat, petra, was sitting on his other shoulder as he walked with slow steps to not make the tray fall. petra had grown very fond of levi – and so was levi of her, even if he didn’t admit that.

a couple single hairs were hovering over his other eye as he placed the tray on your lap, the cat jumping on the bed to lay next to you. there was two pieces of toast with eggs, and a bowl of yogurt with granola. the pretty, tiny, flower designed cup was filled with cinnamon tea. it was your favorite and levi’s as well.

”thank you, love” you said softly and extended your arms, wanting to give him a kiss as a thanks.

he leaned closer to you and allowed you to hold his cheeks while you gave him one, gentle kiss.

”no problem, my pretty girl”

Tim just chased the criminal all the way to Blüdhaven

Jason: BITCH.

Bruce, tearing up slightly: would you like to be my son?

Jason Todd, age 17: *shoots Batman in the knee with a gun*

They decide to let Jason handle him, mostly because Dick hisses anytime anyone else comes near. Jason, who remembers Bruce constantly singing Dick’s praises, and who has heard everyone speak about Dick as though he’s an angel, thinks this is going to be a walk in the park. It is not. Jason looks away for one moment and Dick’s climbing the walls (literally - not metaphorically). He goes to the bathroom and somehow Dick managed to climb out the window and is halfway downtown. He tries to sleep and Dick is in his room like a creepy ass ninja - staring down at him, waiting for something (Dick had a nightmare). He breathes and suddenly Dick is ranting about killing his parents’ murderer. He tries to help Dick with his English and the kid starts making up words. He decides that they should patrol so that Dick can let some of his energy out, and suddenly there’s a maniacal cackle and he’s surrounded by goons that were taken down in the most brutal sense (are those bite marks???)

Dick, telling Damian about his day:

Damian: I don't give a flying Grayson, Grayson.

Dick, with the saddest puppy eyes: Oh

Damian: ...

Damian: Okay, fine, I do care. Keep talking.

Tim, having just pulled another all nighter:

Damian: You look horrid, Drake.

Tim: Thanks. I've never felt prettier.

Damian:...

Damian, placing a hand on the computer and shutting it down: Go to bed, Drake. I will tuck you in.

Tim, thinking he was joking: Yeah, right.

10 minutes later ...

Tim is tucked into bed so well he can barely move, Damian standing in the shadow to make sure he actually falls asleep.

Jason, having just gotten in another argument with Bruce: *flips through his comfort book in the library silently*

Damian: Surprised you can read. Even more surprised to see you understand Pride and Prejudice.

Jason: Funny. Now leave, brat.

Damian, staring at him silently before sitting beside him: *pats Jason's shoulder stiffly, side eyeing him to see if Jason will attack*
