@officialpenisenvy my dumbass spent like 30 minutes going through Titans 2016 in the 2018 era of comics because I forgot there was a TV show. This is what I fucking get.
That said, it reminded me of ANOTHER Bruce-death-related hallucination sequence in the Titans comics (not Rebirth but the *gag* Layman run), so… win?
this is the scene in titans i was thinking about! it's from the last episode of season one, where trigon triggers hallucinations of everyone's darkest fears, and dick's is predictably that bruce will go evil and start killing people and he'll be forced to kill him in turn. much like the rest of early titans it's very unsubtle but a fun take on an alternate universe, and brenton thwaites as dick is an incredible performance!
They really loved to make him hallucinate in that show 😭 and like all his hallucinations were kicking his ass too 💀
And then they had him hallucinating Bruce dancing with strippers in a nightclub??? 😭
Tbh tho I do actually like how they made him look unstable to the point where everyone in his life is like “wtf is going on buddy 🥺??” and then like 2 minutes later they’re all mad at him and he’s throwing his life away.

guys i might be actually crazy because im thinking of only applying to ONE (1) singular grad program because the advisor is literally like the advisor of my hopes and dreams…they fit (almost) all the niches im interested AND they’re in the city/area i want to relocate to in which is lowkey so fucking rare especially within my field AND the school has like really good collaboration shit with other schools/programs…but like it would be so dumb to only apply to one program especially cuz i dont have a shit ton of research experience or anything but idk what to do. like some ppl say i should apply to 15 schools and other ppl say 4-8 schools?? i would have to move out of state no matter what cuz they’re aren’t really any good grad programs in my state for my field… i dont know what to dooooooooo.
