Let's not beat around the bush: Children's author JK Rowling sexually harassed a woman. In some jurisdictions, this would count as sexual abuse. JK Rowling has committed a sex crime against a woman and fell back on the old rape apologist standby of "she was asking for it".

A reminder with PBS being defunded that it is SO MUCH MORE than PBS Kids. It broadcasts educational shows about science, history, current events, nature, art and so much more, instructional television for cooking and home improvement, British shows that might not be available in the states if it wasn’t for PBS, theatre productions, indie productions that PBS gives an opportunity to broadcast they might not get otherwise, and all that’s not even mentioning NPR!!!!! Losing PBS would not only be losing nostalgic shows like Sesame Street and Arthur, but shows for teens and adults who might not be able to afford other channels as well, and THAT is one of the many reasons why it’s so important to fight for it. The link below is a form that lets you send a message to your lawmakers to not defund the extremely important resource to millions that is PBS!!!!!

I don’t really like being in fandoms of real people or put them on a pedestal and I’m mostly just an observer, but I do want to acknowledge that Jack Wolfe kinda rules. His voice is beautiful and I can’t stop listening to videos of him singing. He is so talented and definitely deserves to be where he is at. I just hope that the drawbacks of fame don’t break his spirit. He seems to be very sweet and genuine and he shows how it all makes him feel. He makes it clear is a real person who has anxiety and appreciation. In some of his interviews he talks about how he was a fan of some of the people he’s worked with like Cassie Levy or Kit Young and he felt lucky even when they are actual friends and know each other. And honestly, that’s a beautiful kind of love.

nothing puts a damper on your mood quite like getting fixated on a cross-over crack ship except both characters actually died tragically and have terrible home lives in their canon, so the fandoms compensate with EXTREME angst in every fic, and there’s only 60 something fics written of them so u don’t really get to be picky choosy with the mcd and bittersweet ending tags and u have to thug it out like a real man. or is that like not #relatable
