Bendy chuckled.

He looked back at the throne.

“I’m done. Hat can become the next Devil for all I care.”

Cuphead raised an eyebrow.

“He would definitely boss you around.”

“Even if he became the Devil, I could still take him down.”

Bendy smiled faintly.

In NMW Dandy faded, so even if Bendy even wins the bet, there won’t be a “happy” ending for him. Boris is dead, the Cupbros killed his brother, Alice probably won’t get within five feet of NMW Bendy, Holly might not stick around and idk about Felix, but even if he joins, their relationship might not be as close as in IM. I hope he still meets the demon gang, I think he will be friends with Ava in NMW though.

Bendy killing the Cupbros in the end would be super interesting, he (rightfully) wants revenge for Boris’ death. It’d be a nice twist too, because the Cupbros already decided they won’t betray the questers, but for all intents and purposes, they (and Cala) are the only ones who know this lol. It’s a kinder fate than having them working for him for the rest of their lives, then again Bendy never liked soul contracts and he probably trauma bonded with them at some point (the Labyrinth arc in NMW will be wild). I think Cuphead wouldn’t hold it against Bendy, the guilt was eating him alive anyways and bro is lowkey suicidal even in IM. Idk about Mugs, he is guilty obviously but he still has dreams and ambitions (unlike his brother). Now I kinda want the IM cast meeting their NMW versions ngl lol 

And the killing a 12 year old part… I’m pretty sure Cuphead killed a little girl, or at least he thinks he did. We saw her skeleton in the Labyrinth. Tap confirmed on Discord that she was from a mission with Marcus, which, y’know, considering the Marcus part we have in IM, I don’t even want to imagine what the mission was like…

NMW is a very interesting what-if because everything takes a 180 turn for the worse, and Bendy (the nice, kind demon) embraces the view that Sillyvision (and everyone else except Boris and Sasha had until the quest) had, that he was the monster from the stories. And Bendy’s crashouts are always nice :D

NMW Bendy is still Bendy. The difference is that he’s now ready to do whatever it takes. I don’t think he and Ava would become friends, because he still wouldn’t go along with her plans + approve of what she did to the angels.

I’m not sure whether he’d kill Spark or not. Bendy would know that the unicorn isn’t there by choice, so he might spare him.

He could probably still become friends with the demon gang, but I’m not sure about kaden. The moment Bendy finds out Ride is taking him to the arena, he’d leave right then and there. Of course, I don’t want kaden to die, so maybe Broody would choose to stay after all.

During the magma surfing episode, he would definitely kill every demon that attacked him, so I don’t think he’d ever make it to kaden’s village.

Alice would distance herself from him, and so would the people around him. Felix probably wouldn’t adopt him, (though I’m not sure cus Bendy is still a huge fan so maybe he’d try to behave?) And as for the circus troupe, because of the Kidnapping, he’d end up getting involved with them whether he wanted to or not.

Another really interesting thing is that even though Bendy says he accepts that he’s a monster, he hasn’t completely gone off the rails. Sure, he killed the Cup Bros and Avery, but he was still kind to Felix, and he didn’t fully reject Mickey’s offer to eat with him.

Boris may be dead, but Bendy still wants to act in a way Boris would have wanted, so he’s not going to treat everyone like a monster all the time, only when he thinks it’s necessary.

But of course, if Bendy wins the bet and Boris comes back alive, the Cup Bros are still going to pay for what they did. I don’t think Bendy would just kill them outright in one go. Since the Cup Bros can remain as ghosts, Bendy could trap their souls in the abyss (like he did to Angelo), torturing them forever. After Boris comes back, Bendy would probably live a normal life with him on the surface while secretly tormenting them behind Boris’s back.

I’m sure Tap answered a question before about NMW Mind Bendy’s state. (I don’t know if it got deleted or if I just can’t find it)

Dandy was dead, and Crudy had shut down mentally and gone insane.

So even if Bendy wins the bet with the Devil with Cup Bros support (because we all know how hard the quest is) and Boris comes back from death, Broody is going to kill Cup Bros. because Dandy would still be dead (or not?)

And if Bendy loses the bet, then he’ll just end up being played by the Devil (because he definitely seems like he knows something).

Unlike Ink Mystery, NMW feels like it’s definitely heading toward a bad ending, which honestly makes it interesting (unless Dandy somehow comes back alive).

The idea that Bendy would kill the Cup Bros the moment everything is over is really interesting. If the they realize they’ve been betrayed, I’m curious about how they’d react. In Ink Mystery, they’re the ones doing the betraying, but in NMW, Bendy would be the one betraying them.
