Obey me Characters getting caught in the rain
Some of these are more romantic than others. I may come back and edit them as I come up with more headcannons and get used to writing for some of the side characters.
Always brings an umbrella, and is always prepared.
His umbrella is simple and black, maybe with some red detailing.
Holds the umbrella the hand on his opposite side from you so that you'll have to walk closer to him, and he can slip an arm around your waist.
Once Mammon stole his umbrella, but the Avatar of Pride was not about to let it look like a little rain was going to bother him.
He got drenched, but used his wings to shelter you.
Strung up Mammon by his toes later.
Always forgets his umbrella. It's black and gold, but useless at home.
Lots of running through the rain and giggling
You both stop under a closed shop's awning, or a large tree for shelter, somewhere quiet and a little secluded. Still out of breath and high with laughter.
He'll realize once again how much fun he always has with you and how much he loves you, and can't help but lean in for a kiss.
Worries about you coming down with a cold once you're both home and able to get dried off.
If you're both already home while it's raining, he'll come up with excuses to go out so he can share an umbrella with you.
Will be blushing the whole time.
Probably only thinks to offer you his jacket after he sees you come home wearing one of his brother's jackets.
Will demand that you take off that jacket and put on his instead, only to be teased by his brothers
"Oh~! Demanding that MC get's undressed? That's so bold of you for a change, Mammon!"
Cue intense blushing and stuttering.
Has an umbrella but rarely needs to use it. Not only does he rarely leave the house, but he also doesn't mind the rain.
His umbrella is anime themed, probably Ruri-chan, and has charms dangling off of the base.
If he's feeling bold he'll put a shaky arm around your shoulder.
"Come here, normie, you'll get drenched." blushing the whole time, and staring dead ahead to avoid your gaze.
Now is the perfect time to lean in for a kiss on the cheek. Levi will be flustered, but will feel much more confident walking so close to once he's calmed down a little.
His umbrella is green with little yellow cat faces or paw prints around the edges, and he never forgets it when it's going to rain.
Will seek you out or send you a message as classes end, "Did you bring an umbrella? It's raining cats and dogs outside," "No? I thought so," "You can share mine, so let's walk home together. I'll wait for you in the entrance hall"
The walk home is filled with casual conversations and easy laughter.
He'll ask if you're cold, and drape his jacket over your shoulders.
Immediately afterwards He'll realize how much he likes how you look in his clothes and how cute you are and start blushing.
Readily admits it too, "I'd be lying if I said I didn't like how you look in my jacket," and leans in for a kiss.
Will 100% be offering you his jacket more often
Has several umbrellas of different colors to properly accessorize with his outfits.
Hates the rain because it messes up his makeup and hair.
Will find a nice little shop or cafe where you two can wait out the rain together. It's like a cute little impromptu date.
You both order warm drinks and Devilgram worthy desserts.
He's definitely complaining about how even the humidity messes up his hair when it rains between flirting with you.
Once the rain lightens up a little he'll brave the outdoors, but he probably holds the umbrella a little closer to himself than you.
Also uses it as an excuse to walk more closely with you, but it's mostly to save himself from the rain.
He'll extend an arm with the intention of holding you at the waist, silently asking permission to, as he flirts with you.
"Come closer, sweetheart~! Otherwise the rain will get you all wet, and I'd rather do that myself! Hehe!"
If he gets caught in the rain without his umbrella, all you have to do is tell him he's 'dripping with good looks' and he'll swoon about it for days.
He'll even take Devilgram photos of himself soaking wet with the same caption, and thank you for all the likes they get.
When you both get home the flirting doesn't stop. He offers to take a bath with you and to get you all warmed up.
He's in the forgets-his-umbrella club, but he does have one and Belphie usually brings it to him if it rains too hard.
His umbrella is either purple and orange, or it looks like a sesame seed bun with cheese and a lettuce fringe around the edges.
Getting rained on doesn't bother him, but he worries a lot about you catching a cold.
If he forgets his umbrella he'll drape his jacket over your head, blushing when he realizes how cute you look in it. Unlike Satan, though, he'll probably keep that to himself.
He'll also pull you close, wrapping an arm around your shoulder to try to keep you as dry as possible.
Will also offer you his jacket a lot more often now.
If he has his umbrella he will hold it almost completely over you. The rain doesn't bother him one bit, and he's much more concerned about taking care of you.
You both definitely stop for something warm to eat on the way home, and he'll feed you anything he wants you to try.
His umbrella is either polkadot/cow spotted, or purple with little moons around the edge.
He realizes you forgot your umbrella while bringing Beel's to school, so offers to walk you home while Beel finishes his club activities for the day.
100% holds the umbrella more over him to force you to walk as close to him as possible, the little shit.
Definitely also stops for a little bit of a makeout sesh in a secluded area on the way home
Will ask you to join him in the planetarium once you get back, to enjoy watching and listening to the rain on the glass as you fall asleep in each others arms for your afternoon nap.
Could effortlessly keep you both dry with magic, but prefers the idea of sharing an umbrella with you for the romance and a bit of novelty.
Would place a gentle hand on your back or hold your hand while walking.
Invites you to the castle, but will personally walk you home either way.
With Diavolo's permission (which he will always get unless there is urgent business to attend to, in which case Barbatos will insist that you take his umbrella) he will walk you back to the House of Lamentation to make sure you stays dry.
Would ask permission before putting an arm around your waist and pulling you closer.
Would offer to make you a warm drink to help you warm up before he leaves
Also in the doesn't-need-an-umbrella club.
Would put up a magical barrier to keep you both dry, but make it sound like more complicated magic than it is so he can use it as an excuse to spend more time with you.
Sometimes he'll magically steal your umbrella and let you think you forgot it, just so he can offer to walk you home. Then, he'll leave it somewhere near the door or in your room when they get back for you to find later.
Has a light blue umbrella that reminds him of the sky on a sunny day.
You'll already be walking home in the rain, when suddenly you realize you're no longer getting rained on, only to look up and see Simeon smiling at you, sheltering you under his umbrella.
Simeon saw you leave school without an umbrella, and rushed to catch up to you so you wouldn't get too wet.
"I see you forgot your umbrella. Would you care to wait out the rain with me at Purgatory Hall? It's my turn to cook tonight, so I'll make you dinner too." will say this even if it's not actually his turn to cook.
Gives you a towel, offers you his bathroom to shower and dry off in, magically dries your clothes, and makes you a warm dinner.
The night is filled with easy conversation and laughter, and eventually you two curl up under a blanket with some hot cocoa.
He'll walk you back to the House of Lamentation at the end of the night if you don't fall asleep on his shoulder.

Would also probably buy you an umbrella if you forget yours often enough, but still hesitates since he likes sharing his umbrella with you so much.
Has a gold umbrella with little star charms like the ones on his hat hanging off of each spoke.
Is easily startled by thunder, but tries to hide it or explain it away because he's not a child, dammit!
Tries to hold the umbrella for both of you, but is too short.
Probably walks you back to the House of Lamentation with either Simeon or Solomon. I don't think he really likes going anywhere in the Devildom alone, but won't admit that either.
