fuck everything. whats the media people ASSUME youre into. what are people surprised that you havent watched/played/whatever

just so we’re clear if you’ve never actually seen a cybertruck in person and have only seen photos of them i cannot stress enough how much worse they look in real life. like i honestly don’t know how it’s possible. most things look basically the same in pictures and in real life. but as stupid and ugly as cybertrucks look in photos, every person i’ve spoken to who has seen one in real life agrees that they somehow look even worse in person. and i know you’re thinking to yourself “tah they already look so bad in photos, how can they possibly look even worse in person?” I DONT KNOW. the first time i saw one on the road i was on a phone call and i literally cut myself off in the middle of a sentence just to be like “oh my GOD.” just an incredibly, laughably, unbelievably bad vehicle. i’ve never experienced anything like it. they’re just so bad

Wednesday the 15th. What an excellent day. Middle of the week, middle of the month. Truly, we are in the middle of things.

You should be starting a recipe book. I don't give a shit if you're only 20-years-old. The modern web is rotting away bit by bit before our very eyes. You have no idea when that indie mom blog is going down or when Pinterest will remove that recipe. Copy it down in a notebook, physically or digitally. Save it somewhere only you can remove it. Trust me, looking for a recipe only to find out it's been wiped off the internet is so fucking sad. I've learned my lesson one too many times.

I’m often times like really instinctively defensive of LA and California in general, mainly because I think a lot of the stereotypes about this place actually more accurately apply to white transplants who move here for the entertainment industry rather than the Black and Latino and Indigenous people who have really actually shaped the culture and identity of this city and state as I’ve experienced it, and in LA particular you’re really having radically different experiences of what your community can be like based on where you are and who you’re spending your time with. but of course I am also simultaneously grappling with the caveat of firmly believing there aren’t really any states within the USA that like deserve to exist at all. so it’s tricky.
