Day 7: Future - I reserved the last day for @prairiedogprincess‘s pirate lady Zakiya. Let me tell you about this life ruiner ball of sunshine. THIS GIRL HERE IS THE BANE OF ALL ARTISTS. I SWEAR SHE HAS GONE THROUGH TEN DIFFERENT OUTFITS AS OF THE DAY I FINALLY DECIDED ON HER POSE. SHE USED TO WEAR PANTS AT SOME POINT I’M CRYING. DON’T LET ME GET STARTED ON ACCESSORIES. HER GRIN STILL HAUNTS ME TO THIS DAY. IT IS ALWAYS THERE. WATCHING. WAITING. JUDGING.

That said, I bet she loved every second of slowly turning me crazy via fashion. She’s into crafting and she makes her own clothes and is a fashionista. Her canon romance Hamin just keeps enabling that by constantly giving her little presents of seashells and pearls and rocks and other stuff he finds and at one point Zakiya just didn’t have enough room in her pockets for all the good luck charms and did the only sane thing. Which obviously is sewing them ALL into her clothes and making earrings and necklaces and stuff. Thank you so much for that guys I really appreciate it *eye twitches*

Needless to say Hamin and Zakiya are very happy together after the summit. So happy in fact, that the only fic I could find about them was nsfw. Which means I can’t link it here. I must shield your innocent eyes as a shining example of propriety and good behavior that I obviously am. But if anyone is interested they should definitely check out @prairiedogprincess‘s blog. Just take some holy water with you and you’re good to go.

I gave her a tiny hint of muscles because I feel like she’d probably have some. She also likes Corvali fashion and I tried to incorporate that into her clothes. I’m still not happy with the outfit though sob sob maybe she should be wearing pants????? ZAKIYA WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO ME

I forgot to mention @prairiedogprincess​ is the sweetest person ever, she had to listen to my screaming about how I can’t art on a regular basis this whole week an gave me lots of encouragement and ideas of how to make stuff work I cry 2good4me

I can’t believe I only have to finish one more of these I’m actually doing this omg I’m almost proud. Also if anyone hasn’t done the Jiyel plotline yet consider this a warning that there are a few spoilers ahead!

Day 6: Hope or Despair - @december-snow loves her angst and drama and honestly I thought her little scholar mc was perfect for this prompt. I always found it funny how the scholar ended up getting almost murdered by a book. And then saved again by another one. So I guess the true cause of both hope and despair here is literature. And people say Revaire and Corval court are vicious. Nope. It’s the books you have to look out for. Honestly, Lyon must be a survival expert by now. Speaking of I should have put him in there somewhere, maybe he could be lying passed out in the background or something. No library is complete without a Lyon of its own.

@december-snow is a wonderful and amazing artist and she keeps drawing my mc’s all the time and damn it it’s high time I drew one of hers too. Sometimes she does streams and I get to ogle at her arts from start to finish. She also writes fanfic sometimes like this one here that is actually about Su-Jin herself how appropriate (and features one of my mc’s as well I sob Deci you are too pure for me).

This one was actually the first picture I finished. Probably because I’ve had the idea and composition stuck in my head for a long time and just didn’t have an unsuspecting victim a specific mc in mind to draw it. I have no idea why but I really like how her fingers turned out for some reason. I want to give her outfit a pretty flower print once I get to colouring it I bet it would look cute on her.

Day 5: Growth - @fleurdeglace‘s cutie patootie countess Sophie is an adorable little mc that is very unprepared for the Summit at the beginning of her story but ends up kicking everyone’s asses by the end of it. She’s super bad at being proper and her etiquette is not particularly impressive either. Basically anything that doesn’t include climbing on things is not on her strengths list. Her canon Li is Lyon and I thought the prompt fit them perfectly, with them both growing throughout the game and Sophie dragging him out of his comfort zone and all. Except Sophie is really short so if we’re talking actual growing, Lyon would probably be the one who’s doing the majority of that.

Pic features mysterious floaty hand I wonder who it is dang we may never know. You know the feeling when you draw a face and you follow the ref but it somehow doesn’t feel like the persons face? Because I am feeling that feeling right now and it’s bugging me so much. Colouring it might change that I hope. Maybe I should turn the leaves into cherry blossoms to make it more anime.

Thank you @fleurdeglace​ for letting me throw ugly sketches at your face I appreciate our mutual “I can’t art” suffering screaming very much it’s is the best way to kick my ass into actually finishing drawings.

I seem to have become nocturnal.

Day 4: Present - @wateroracle‘s fabulous court lady Divya. This was a tough prompt. Actually all of them were. Div’s biggest hobby is falconry. In the present (yes please bear with me) she is putting her hunting skills to the test to catch the rare and elusive library lyon of Jiyel. She stalks him relentlessly day and night, only taking breaks every once in a while to persuade all these silly summit people to NOT KILL EACH OTHER. It’s a tough job.

I included another “present” in the picture but now I realize I can’t really say what it is unless I want the alpha access police to drag my ass to jail. I don’t like jail.

The birb is supposed to be a saker falcon. Wikipedia told me they live in eastern Europe, throughout the Arabian peninsula all across to Asia and i thought that could be a good equivalent to the climate conditions in Corval maybe. I am really bad at drawing birbs please forgive me. I thought about cutting her right hand out of the picture but i ended up liking how one half of her was fancy lady while the other was bloodthirsty predator. Or are birbs scavengers? Bloodthirsty scavenger then. Divya has no fanfic written about her which is a TRAVESTY.

Okay so finishing the day 6 stuff before days 4 and 5 was a bad decision on my part I admit. I might not sleep much this weekend. But hey at least everyone gets a nice chronological view of my slow descent into insanity :)

Day 3: Dreams - When i saw the prompt I instantly thought about @altereden’s ambitious widow Anita and how i should make this about her dreams being broken into teeny tiny pieces over and over again until you couldn’t ever put them back together... I blame @altereden. She just loves making me suffer, like any true friend does. 

Anita would do literally anything for her siblings, even though most of her relationships with them are a little strained... By a little strained I mean most of her sisters really hate her! Anyway her canon match is the wonderful crown prince Lisle who has an equally wonderful sister Penelope and they have a much nicer sibling relationship. And I couldn’t help but wonder how weird it must have been for Anita when she got to frolick happily with Penny in the fields and make flower crowns on Lisles first date. Probably felt like a freaky dream she couldn’t trust. Did it remind her of her sisters? What did she do with the flower crown? Who does her hair? I think about these things at night when I can’t sleep.

Listen I know she looks like she’s trying to hide the flower crown she’s just embarrassed and she’s doing her best to play it cool ok. She has an amazing poker face, I don’t know if I did it justice. Speaking of, you can read about her and cry with me in this awesome fic here! Written by @altereden​. Writing is another thing she’s really good at besides making me suffer <3

I think I might change the background up a bit. I’m not liking that bedpost canopy thing. Distracting. Also the hand is touching the table in a weird way and it’s bothering me so much.

I’m planning on making these 7kpp week submissions a set if I can keep up. Which might be a little tricky because none of my other pictures are finished yet whoops *weeps over not being able to read all the 7kpp fanfics that have shown up these last two days*

Day 2: Sacrifice - @zelcher‘s adorable Princess Vivienne of Arland! Figuring out the background was a bit difficult, I feel like it still looks a little static and bare. Hopefully the colouring will fix that. Either way I sort of like how the window ended up looking like a cage because I’m a monster :) 

Vivi has made many sacrifices. Vivi is planning to make even more sacrifices. Vivi needs to stop making so many sacrifices. Maybe one day. 

@zelcher you sweet precious dork I hope I got your Vivi to look as pretty as you make her sound in your fanfics! Thank you for being awesome I cry over time zones trying to keep us apart. Tiaras are freaking hard to draw, but despite that Vivi gave me the least problems to figure out clothes for. Thank you Vivi. I appreciate it.

I was looking through old pictures and found this. It is veeeeery veeeeeeeeeeeeeeery old and was just a small jokey thing i did with friends a long time ago. Credit goes to @zelcher and @wateroracle for choosing which characters to use <3 Thank you guys! 

I feel like I have really captured the essence of Jarrod in this one. And Lyon’s book only having two pages in it is totally not my lazy asses’ fault nope. Might have gone a little overboard with the couch though. Priorities....?

Edit - Picture features the majestic leaning tower of Jiyel. Zarad is despairing over Blain not noticing him and it’s all very tragic. Ana really doesn’t want to be there. Leaning tower of Jiyel doesn’t want to be there either. Jarrod should probably never leave that headlock for everyone’s safety. Hamin has figured out how to float in mid air apparently. Ok I’ll stop I promise.

It’s been a while. Rolling back in to throw my entries at people for this years 7kpp week because I missed the last one! I tried doing a specific theme for it so I struggled a little with some of the prompts.

Day 1: Past - meet @thatonewhodoesthing’s lady Basma of Corval. She usually wears bells in her hair to announce her presence, but I figured they would make brushing it a little awkward so i cruelly took them away from her. What does it have to do with the prompt? Well, she’s supposed to be a little older in this picture, however it’s tied to this awesome fic written by @thatonewhodoesthing that is set in her past which you should definitely check out if you have the time!
