Summary: Five years after Dai Shi's defeat, one morning, the entire Pai Zhua academy finds itself in chaos. Master Casey is nowhere to be found?!

It's one of the younger students, 15 in age, who calls RJ up— he was the closest to Casey, in the whole Order of the Claw— and informs him 'Casey's missing.' He tells Theo and Lily. They still work at the JKP with him and live in an apartment a few blocks away.

They return to the academy only to realise how badly in chaos the academy actually is. Some of the older masters have set their gaze upon Jarrod and Camille, the erstwhile evil, thinking that they have something to do with Casey's disappearance. It's not nice, the kids are being mean, the teenagers are worse. Jarrod's anger issues are resurfacing, because even before Dai Shi, that was something he struggled with. (Add to that, Dai Shi had quite literally warped timelines to change Jarrod's past and his personality, so a part of him is still aggressive like that, despite the few years of temper training he's been getting at the academy, recently.) And all the hate inflicted at him and Camille makes him want to explode everyone around with his lion spirit.

So, they decide to take Camille and Jarrod away from the academy, at least until Casey is found and everything settles down. They bunk with RJ at the loft, and its kinda nice. (Jarrod discovers he likes making pizza? Who would've thought!)

A few days of peace for the two ex-villains, and then Casey's body is discovered at the pier. There's an official investigation, yes, but the old jungle masters are intrigued. <- cue Master Finn causing up a whole ruckus, because he does not like the thought that his favorite child (future son-in-law, fav student, however you wanna put it), has been murdered. He and the other two old masters end up taking matters into their own hands and 'investigating', which is basically trying to find evidence that its Jarrod who killed Casey.

Now, of course that's not true— What's stranger, is that despite Casey's body being discovered and Casey being a Pai Zhua Master, his spirit is nowhere to be seen. RJ Meditates and tries to communicate with the spirit of Master Mao, and asks him if he can find out what happened- where is Casey's spirit, what's wrong, because something 100% feels wrong. Jarrod and Camille are being wrongfully persecuted, he's in unbelievable grief, after Casey's death.... and just... Is this how it was supposed to end?

Master Mao returns from the beyond with news: Casey's spirit isn't in the spirit realm. As far as he could sense, he's been.... captured.

RJ, Theo, Lily, Jarrod and Camille all sit in stunned silence after this revelation. What does that mean? Is his spirit in chains? Is this murder? What... is going on...
