im ngl at this point i dont even care. they could reform rehabilitate massage and refurbish everything about the entire site in the next 15 minutes, make it a perfect online utopia, and i still wouldnt trust or forgive them. the bridge is burnt, the goodwill is gone
moderation policies are a promise to handle user disputes fairly and consistently. that promise has been broken over and over again for over a decade, with increasingly implausible deniability
"for any reason, or none at all." what that means is, "our moderation policies are an outright lie." what it means is, "we are not even trying to honor our promises." in having made that statement even once, and broken the illusion of any sort of security in policy, the relationship becomes unsalvageable
