buying esims is a bit more involved than some may realize-- there are different plans available (1GB, 3GB, 5GB, 10GB), all different prices, all of which expire, meaning that you need to continuously replenish, or "top-off", someone's data plan once the esim is activated
(well-- it's not "needed" perse, but having a plan expire means the esim user must go through the arduous process of activating a new esim- which as stated above, are in extremely limited supply
maintaining an esim may not be feasible for everyone. if that's the case for you- i strongly recommend putting money towards crips for esims. this project not only purchases esims, but keeps 3000+ esims active on behalf of their donors

I'm the "voting is good" guy but I intend to direct basically all of my you-should-vote energy next year towards the reelection of the 18 progressives who've stuck their necks out to call for an Israeli-Palestinian ceasefire. They've dedicated themselves to a basic standard of human decency, and for it they will be punished with an immense tidal wave of financial and political resources seeking to get them kicked out of office, to say nothing of the threats against their lives. None of them are from my state, unfortunately but predictably. But OP is right: if you live in one of these states, and in the right district, you're in a position to cast a vote that could actually matter.

Amazing news!! They reached their goal of 100,000 USD! There is now a second goal of 250,000 USD! Remember, this is 373 games, assets, and comics for a minimum of 8 USD- a bundle of items which would normally be ~1,667 USD! Let's reach that second goal as quickly as we reached the first goal!
Fantastic news!!! The 250,000 USD goal has been met, and there is now a third goal of 500,000 USD! The deadline has also been extended, and as of the time I'm writing this update, there is 13 more days to reach their newest goal!
The money raised so far has already been incredible. Let's maintain this energy and continue to provide support for the PCRF!
eSims for Gaza is facing constant eSim shortages.
They get over a thousand requests for connection a day, but their email inbox is regularly sitting at 300-500 eSims. With the bombardment of Rafah and continual internet blackouts, the need for more eSims is particularly urgent.
Even if you have already sent an eSim or donated to an eSim donation drive, there is more you can do. The team is calling for people to campaign in their communities to help spread the word about eSims and encourage donations.
You can help by printing out posters and putting them up in local businesses, on telephone poles and notice boards, or wherever people are likely to see them.
