Sherlock: detests it, thinks it makes people stupid and hates how it’s often wrong. Rants about it constantly.

John: tried it out for a second to see if it could edit his blog, had a row with it when it kept americanising every word. Also got embarrassed because Sherlock called him an imbecile.

Mrs Hudson: keeps downloading apps that edit your face into some imaginary scenario. Sends Sherlock and John pictures of what they’d look like on their wedding day or what Rosie will look like grown up.

Greg: uses it for everything. Doesn’t really get what it is but lets it fill out all his paperwork. Gets called an idiot by Sherlock but doesn’t really know what the big deal is.

Mycroft: works with all the big AI companies and uses them for surveillance. Sends Sherlock cases when someone types in a worrying prompt.

Molly: doesn’t use it for environmental reasons. Constantly reposting infographics on her Instagram story with cartoons of sad polar bears. Always falls for the fake funny animal videos though.

Irene: uses it to create deepfakes and blackmails people

Anderson: Thinks ChatGPT is omnipotent, asks it things like ‘is Sherlock Holmes a serial killer?’
