grace and rocky have a running joke where every year rocky asks when grace is going home and grace says he's thinking about extending his vacation another day or so

grace and adrian become the best of friends, and he's heavily involved in their children's lives and they call him uncle grace

on that earth, a new movement/religion/whatever is formed around saint grace and his sacrifice, much like the dog laika is loved and revered and immortalized all over this one, except it sparks a halt in humanity's speedrun to destruction from pure greed, and instead people begin to embrace the concept of selflessness for the betterment for their world

grace assumes his sacrifice truly only granted them more time to kill each other, completely unaware he saved his species from extinction in a completely different and more permanent way.

alternatively, sometimes i think it would be funny if it changed absolutely nothing, and he wonders how much better earth is now that they nearly faced extinction, just for it to be nuclear winter over there

rocky refuses to acknowledge the concept of grace dying in any way, shape, or form. he works for grace's entire lifespan trying to find a way to extend it (he can't)

grace still gets incredibly homesick for earth and other human beings from time to time, but he loves erid and eridians so much more than he ever expected to, and feels more at home there than he ever did on earth

I just watched all of your hr body language analysis videos and pressed pause after each sentence to make sure I would catch it all.

I am devastated. I am in awe. I understand them better than before. My mind is blown. I will keep watching them. I want to eat them and never let go. Like holy shit.
