Just want to say BoB focused heavily on Easy/paratroopers only like they should have mentioned the tankers are with them in Bastogne(Team Cherry, for example) it will save my anxiety a lot worrying when Roe brought Smoky to the aid station I thought they had no tanks but I guess that’s the point of the series

The “meet you at the North Star” is very sweet but also shows how lonely Dick felt that time? It’s the eve of the invasion he probably felt he couldn’t share his thoughts with other soldiers and he felt he might not survive so he was very nice and sweet in his letter.

Maybe Dick was sweet to DeEtta when they fist met but when the time progressed it changed

The North Star also reminds me of the astronaut letter Dick wrote to Nix. He can be poetic when he wants..
