I'll shuffle and assign the song submissions. (It'll be mostly random but I'll try to make sure you have similar tastes in shows/characters, which you'll be able to list on the form.)

Edit a video to your assigned song.** (Your video must be at least 90 seconds long with no looping.)

Post your video on Halloween: October 31! (Make sure to tag your trick-or-treater in the caption! Use the tag #hbowarsongshuffle for the event, and #hbowarvids to be featured on the archive.)

As always I'm looking to make the even just that tiniest bit more perfect next time than it was in times past so if you have any thoughts about the way it's structured (watch order, number/types of prompts, tag structure, etc) I would love to hear them! Please send asks or reply to this post so they can be taken into consideration for future rewatches. I am playing with the idea of including a quote from one of the eps we're watching as a prompt in the future so please let me know what you think about that!

I am also very desperately in want of prompt ideas! Two per episode each watch is a number I enjoy doing but I'm swiftly running out of ones for some episodes of shows. So please feel free to send asks or fill out this prompt page that breaks it down by episode and by show. You are welcome to leave things blank if you don't have anything for that one!

And while the current list of movie suggestions for our next rewatch is fairly long I am accepting new suggestions. The list as it stands is as follows: Greyhound (2020), Mudbound (2017), Twelve O'Clock High (1949), The Best Years of Our Lives (1946), The Monuments Men (2014), Fury (2014), Valkyrie (2008), The Cranes are Flying (1957), Ivan's Childhood (1962), and Casablanca (1942).

One thing that will be standard moving forward is everything from each rewatch being tagged with the rewatch number like it was this time around.
