The combination of Ne-Fi means that there is great diversity in how ENFPs approach life, so it is important to consider individual differences. ENFPs who are more driven by Ne/Te will often appear more outgoing and flirtatious, and confidently seize relationship opportunities. ENFPs who are more driven by Fi/Si may be more fearful of rejection, have lower self-esteem, and be more careful about sending the wrong signals to others for fear of causing harm. But Ne is dominant and ENFPs can usually approach people confidently, even when they feel anxious, because the next moment always holds some promise for overcoming trepidation, which is to say that ENFPs are generally able to get over negativity once they can refocus their attention on brighter possibilities. This underlying optimism can be good because it allows them to be interested in many kinds of people and enjoy the real diversity of human experience (and they generally do not distinguish or categorize relationships as rigidly as other types). They tend to see the best in people and genuinely admire qualities in others that they themselves do not possess. On the other hand, focusing on positive potential means that ENFPs can be prone to idealizing people, which can influence how a crush develops; they can feel conflicted about how to proceed once reality sets in and the grass starts to appear greener elsewhere. Ultimately, ENFPs are looking for a deep and intimate connection, but the willingness to commit can sometimes be elusive.

Extroverted Intuition (Ne): Jake is considered by his Sergeant to be one of the best detectives in the precinct. His success tends to come from his Ne-dominance; he’s able to come up with multiple solutions to the crimes he’s assigned to and then figure out who did what. He has a good sense of humor and makes comebacks and jokes very quickly, often showing his feelings for people with teasing (like his feelings for Amy Santiago and the ongoing joke of “name of your sex tape”). When he thinks he’s going through a slump, he jumps from case to case, trying to find something new to get over it and invest his Ne into, but it’s only when he has to sit back and do paperwork that he finally solves a case for the first time in weeks.

Introverted Feeling (Fi): Jake hates talking about his feelings, or anyone else’s feelings for that matter. He often makes jokes when people get emotional around him, which doesn’t really help the situation at all (“I’m sorry, I’m uncomfortable with emotions.”) He doesn’t have a lot of attachment to other people’s feelings, except those of people he’s close with, such as his friends at the Brooklyn Nine-Nine, but he has strong loyalty to those in his inner circle.

Extroverted Thinking (Te): A lot of Jake’s Te is evident in expressions of his Fi; when asked why he holds a pizza place so dear, Jake bluntly admits it’s because of his past connection to it and his father. He doesn’t cry or get very emotional, but merely states what he feels. Though he can be very immature about his personal life (such as collecting bills in his bathtub and spending money on multiple recliners), Jake has proven to be a great leader. When Holt had to leave for a day, Jake was put in charge of the Nine-Nine and, after he stopped trying to make people like him, he rationed food, heat, and the rest of the facility very well under a quarantine.

This is so me I kinda hate this

Running an MBTI blog, you end up finding many different people who are of the same type. Here’s some of the types of INTJs I’ve encountered:

The Mistyped One: Tries their hardest to seem like an INTJ. Probably the ones who say really stereotypical stuff like “I have no emotions,” or, “What is empathy?” By far the most annoying one on this list.

The Surprisingly Kind One: Weirdly nice. Masters of Fi. Probably a Hufflepuff. Just wants to do their best. The rarest type of INTJ.

The Ambitious One: Goal oriented as all hell. Don’t even try getting between them and their goal, or that’ll be the last thing you ever do. Slytherin.

The Sorta Psychopathic One: The reason behind most of the INTJ stereotypes. Probably more harmless than they seem, but still fantasises about murder here and there.

The Nerd™️: Enjoys knowledge for its own sake. Has one area in which they are really good at. Probably hasn’t seen the light of day in years. Ravenclaw.

The Tired Sarcastic One: Lives on coffee and/or energy drinks. Speaks sarcasm as their first language. Don’t even try to hide the fact they’re a bit of an asshole, but that’s what makes them special.

The Artistic One: Either a writer, musician, artist, or a mixture of the three. Creative as hell. Can seem sentimental on paper, but in real life? Don’t even try…
