funniest parts of the episode were i am the scalpel and when he was like “louis LIED about the LENGTH OF MY HAIR it goes PAST my shoulders. so jot that down.”

can i also just say i think it is a bit goofy when people say like “i won’t call it the vampire lestat its iwtv s3” when like the showrunners are not doing this because they decided they don’t like louis anymore or whatever they’re calling it tvl because we’re supposed to understand that iwtv s1-2 are the story that is told from louis’s perspective by daniel in daniel’s book, a book which exists in the world of tvl. and for this “season” we’re supposed to understand that this is a fully different presentation of events told from a different perspective. also it’s a book adaptation and the titles reflect the books being adapted. idk if you don’t want to watch it because you don’t like lestat whatever that’s fine he sucks (no more or less than most other characters on this show) but it’s really silly to refuse to engage with the story as its being told, which includes how they’re using the titles to build immersion with the different narratives being presented
