so excited to post this fic but i have to finish it first.....

lrb i was having lunch too now i'm gonna throw up.

immediately started reading philosophy in the boudoir after lisa's posts about eugénie but the thing about de sade is always that it's laughable how poorly written it all is.

genuinely crazy as hell how long i have to wait for my english exam grades. til the 6th of august. whole lives are gonna be lived in that time.

no it's hilarious the way everyone was like ohhhh heated rivalry is so poorly written how can u like it and then every tv show that has dropped afterwards has taken on the challenge of being sooooo ass. just shit from a butt. abysmal dogshit. now heated rivalry is good in comparison thank u tv ♥️

while it is true that i'm not as invested in gabriestat as i thought i would be because they're not the most interesting relationship ever written, i don't have a problem with their characterization per se because i don't remember the books enough to compare. my issue with characterization has more to do with louis, daniel and even lestat himself. when i mention the season being shallow i mean things like, for example, how claudia's assault was compared to lestat being turned into a vampire, even tho claudia's turning itself was already violating and where the comparison should've been. but that would necessitate going under the surface and positioning loustat as the aggressors, which they were. as it exists on the show the comparison is, again, shallow and frivolous. in my opinion. and when i say the dialogue is bad..... i don't think i have to put examples for that do i? the consequences of serving cunt.
