a thing that I also want to report from tonight's speedball stream is something that they said about twitter (and probably also bluesky/instagram/etc by extension)
they were saying it "genuinely helps" for you to tweet/post about them or their matches, especially if you use the official hashtags like #AEWDynamite #AEWCollision or whatever the special event of the night is. it's pretty standard for corps to track keywords and such, we now have confirmation that data is taken into account for booking and contracts and that this extends to other people at AEW/ROH as well
let me say that again slightly louder
if you want to genuinely help someone's career at AEW/ROH post about them on twitter/etc with the official hashtags
this stuff does get taken into account. if you post about the womens division, or get excited about certain guests, or post clips of things you think are cool, especially if you use the official hashtags and keywording it is more likely to keep getting booked
so if people tell you not to complain about booking don't listen. but do vote with your attention economy dollar when they do things you want to see more
btw i am doing this. it feels so cringe bcs i dont tweet this way. but the tweets can be low effort/contractual-obligationcore bcs its tracked automatically. clocking in at the 'clapping when women onscreen' factory
