Cabin baby quilt is done!
This quilt is for the child of some of my friends who have invited me on many winter cabin trips! So I made it outdoor themed for their little explorer.
The tree blocks are machine pieced based on a block from Wise Craft Quilts by Blair Stocker. The stars and cabin are self drafted and English paper pieced. The bulk of the quilting is machine but I did do some big stitch accents for fun.
I’m very happy with it, and tomorrow I get to deliver it and meet the baby!
Started hand stitching the drip quilt :) it’s gonna take forever since this is 84” square, but as they say the time will pass anyways. Arya has been incredibly supportive with quality checks for both the quilt and my hoop as well
Progress! Im really proud of how my freehand circles are coming along. I’m hoping it’ll give the effect of raindrops on water :)
FINALLY!!!!! I still need to get the binding on but the hand quilting is DONE
Pattern is Drip by Tara Lee Quiltery and the fabrics (except the black and rainbow batik and the charcoal with stars) are from the Sarah Watts Glow Garden line for Ruby Star
“The mini quilt for the library’s quilt display is finished! Chipmunkweirdo’s mom made it and it is amazing!”
my mom won a ribbon in her quilt show 🥹🥹 I’m so proud of her <3

Been sewing a lot at my parent's house. Fireglow quilt top, I'm handquilting it, so it will be a bit, and it's backed with the Starry fabric in dark blue
Exhausted and packing to move into a dorm soon but still working on the quilt. The pink-ribbed white and red patches section is the only newer one (take a wild guess what it means) but I have started piecing them together.
my first finished quilt - economy square dinosaurs
all fabric was thrifted
All done! Yay!
I’m so proud of myself for doing this quilt because I’ve always seen myself as someone who can’t commit to long term goals. Now is this project barely going to span multiple weeks? Yes. Still counts for me. I’m proud of myself for trying. I knew it was going to be bad bc wuilting always seemed really scary but lowkey it’s not so bad just very tedious.
But I’m actually doing the thing I’ve always wanted to do and instead of feeling a sharp regret for not starting earlier I can’t feel anything but the JOY OF DOING WHAT IVE ALWAYS WANTED TO DO!!!
Also look at my crisp ass seams I’m so happy (these are like one in 20 but most are only a mm off!)

Hand quilting a stroller blanket for the unborn baby of a lady i haven't seen since we were both litteral infants in a baby and mama group over 20 years ago.
As one does
Im also going to make a crib sized blanket in pink with splashes of green, blue, and yellow. It'll be pinwheel and ribbon star blocks in a checkered pattern, with some bird blocks placed semi randomly.
I must reiterate that I've not met this lady since we were babies. And I won't meet her after these quilts are made. They will be mailed to her. The only reason I know she's pregnant is because her mom and my mom and friends on facebook.
Another quilt finished!
Boston Area Mask Initiative Commemorative Face Mask Scrap Quilt by Boston Area Initiative Volunteers, BAMI Founder Stephanie Cave, and Gather Here Staff Fuller Craft Museum Brockton, MA July 5, 2026

Fiji table set!!!
When we were in Fiji in January we visited a fabric store and bought these really awesome printed cotton rectangles inspired by Tapa cloth designs, with the idea of eventually making placemats out of them. 6 months later I actually did it!
I found this gorgeous leafy batik at a local fabric store back home and it pulled the whole idea together! I hemmed some squares of it for napkins, too.
Quilted up all 6 rectangles and now they’re table-ready! So fun to do a finish-able, useful project for once!

Sharing the prettiest most springy quilt I think I’ve ever made! I made this for my niece to celebrate her HS graduation. She loved it!
I used a vintage sheet for the backing. It’s so soft!
My friend at Threadiculous Quilting Co did the floral quilting. My niece loved it!
most recent quilt (baby sized as a gift for a couple who’s expecting!) along with some behind the scenes pics
