What's your blog title from?
"15 years just to come back to this?!" â well, with the 2023 60th anniversary specials I got way too much into the Doctor/Donna thing again...
2. What movie have you watched most recently? What did you think of it?
Into the Woods. It was weird.
3. what are you looking forward to right now?
In overall, to be finally done with my degree, in short them, to handing in my edited final version of my thesis.
4. if you could do anything at all today, what would it be?
I'd love for the weather to be good and just lay on a deckchair by a private pool and drink coffee and switch between reading a book and swimming.
5. What's your drink of choice? (Coffee/tea order, alcohol of choice, pop, etc)
Coffee, always, black or with a splash of almond milk. And I have recently discovered sugarfree mango flavoured mineral water, I like that one.
6. What's your hair routine like? Anything special?
Well, considering my hair structure, it is always a good idea to add something to control the frizz after washing it. But I also forget to wash it...
7. what's your favourite way to travel? Is there a mode of travel you haven't done that you want to experience?
Long distance trains, ideally with the quiet compartment, so I can sit there with my laptop watching movies or writing/working, while my dog is in his travel bag by my feet. I wish it was cheaper and that my country had fast trains...
8. favourite month of the year and why?
I would say June. There's strawberries and the allergy season is over.
9. favourite time of day and why?
Dusk... the colors...
10. do you play or follow any sports? & elaborate on that?
I used to watch figure skating as a kid. But not anymore, so no.
11. what kind of music is stuck in your head a lot lately?
I get random annoying songs stuck in my head all the time, sometimes two at once. Sometimes it is just a random song that is not annoying. Recently, Absolution by Pretty Reckless has been playing there. It slaps.
12. dishes or laundry?
Laundry, doing dishes makes my skin crawl. Unless I'd have to do the laundry by hand. Then it's a tie.
13. what's something you learned recently?
That there's free parking behind the main university building.
14. if you could give a TED talk on anything, what would you talk about?
The inherent misogyny of the so-called "strong female characters" as written by male writers.
15. What's a piece of advice you find yourself giving a lot?
To other people? Be polite and honest and things will work out.
16. what's a piece of advice you would give to yourself five years ago?
Leave your hair alone, it's fine.
17. do you believe in luck and superstition? Do you carry any lucky items or follow any lucky rules?
No.
18. Are you musical? Play any instruments or sing? Would you ever perform for an audience?
I sing, but not in the public. I would like to learn to play the keyboard.
19. Write, type, or speak?
Type, always, I can type quite fast and I am a slow writer, and talking is too... dunno... I lose the thread a lot there.
20. what do you wish someone would ask you?
Could I buy you a house of your choice, no strings attached?
