Superbat where Bruce is the only person who doesn't register anything wrong with Clark beyond the "he's more powerful than even he is aware of, of course that's terrifying," aspect. Bruce, who simply tilts his head in confusion every time someone looks terrified to stare down Superman. especially when it's someone else on the JL
because that's Clark. he doesn't see the teeth that are slightly too sharp. he doesn't see the eyes that catch too much or too little light, that glint almost violet under direct lighting. he doesn't register the subvocal growls or ability to go entirely blank. he's aware of all of those things in a way that's like, "wow, that's actually really attractive and intriguing," kind of way. never once does he register how uncanny it is for someone to register alien. because to him it's beautiful. it's power. leashed, clean, and at its finest. what's there to fear? he's not human, why hold him to that standard?
sure, him and Clark have fought bare handed before, but that's not scary... why does the rest of the JL look at him like that when he says that? why won't they dare make eye contact with Superman when those irises shine such a beautiful mix of blue and violet under the sterile lights of the tower meeting room?
