dawg i was looking up hammond organ music and all im finding is really awesome jazz and blues and the like. was rimmer's taste in music based? also i do like the idea that rimmer of all people likes jazz music. i want it to be true. it's probably a different type of music but also! it is canon in the book that lister borrows one of rimmer's hammond organ records, so it probably isn't too lame 🤔

i get so emotional during the two total flashbacks we see of rimmer as a young kid on screen because what do you mean THAT is who everyone in his life is relentlessly mean to. like he frequently talks about how terrible his upbringing is and hearing about it is bad enough but then actually seeing just how tiny he was when he was experiencing all that really puts it in perspective. he sleeps with a teddy bear and nearly starved to death. what the Fuck

in tongue tied, the cat is obviously fabulous and eye catching, but i love watching rimmer and lister cause the actors did not wanna do that lol. Chris barrie is just aggressively looking ahead while craig charles keeps glancing at the camera like he's trying to mentally persuade them to stop this nonsense
