yes i'm still doing these!! i wasn't able to finish them all before my final exam (got an A+ in the class tho yay!!) so i wanted to take a breather before finishing them afterwards. also i totally got thrown into lamin research like right after the semester ended so i've been BUSY!!!

anyways, last two are accipitriformes and passeriformes. recommended me some passeriformes to include so that i can try to capture the diversity of the order!!!

unfortunately very true. Doing Better does not always mean never being upset or never being triggered or never having trouble. often Doing Better means experiencing those things and being able to keep going/cope healthily/move on. if you’re in a bubble with no sensation, if you’re numbing yourself out, that’s not what recovering really is. it won’t help you have a happier life it’ll just make your world smaller and smaller until you can’t fit anywhere anymore. gotta learn to make peace with the hard stuff too, that’s the only way to keep going

i did this for art awhile back and never posted it. as per usual. cuz i always forget. anyways the assignment was a monochrome painting and i was immediately like “WHITEOUT!!!” so! whiteout!! this was so so fun to paint, and in my head i imagined it was thoughtful that made the painting trying to replicate her style (to some degree)

I think ao3 is literally the only site where no censorship means no censorship. you can post the most vile things on there — things that will get taken down on any other platforms — and ao3 will protect you, your works, and your rights to create whatever you want, however you want.

and no, this isn’t me saying “write that messed up, disgusting thing” because while, yes, write it if it’s what you want (I myself enjoy writing dark fics, something I believe would be considered “vile” to a lot of people), this is me saying in a world of censorship and capitalism, ao3 really is a treasure.
