The Simpsons’ family house on Evergreen Terrace has an ultra-rarely seen Rumpus/Recreation Room behind the kitchen, that has only been used a handful of times in the show’s history. The episode it was most clearly seen was “Lady Bouvier’s Lover” in Season 5. It’s known to have beanbag chairs, a smaller TV, and a distinctive X-marked throw rug.

It’s why there is a door right beside the Simpsons’ refrigerator in their kitchen. This isometric diagram clearly outlines where it is.
