i'm in concert band, i play trombone., going into my 6th year of concert band

i'm learning German, currently in year 3 of german in school
i love learning about psychology, i'm going ot be taking a Psychology AP class, but i also like to learn abt it on my own. i've been researching psych for about 5 years now. i especially love learning about specific mental disorders/illnesses, but recently have found myself fascinated with the actual physical psychology - how different parts of the brain work, and effects damage to one part does differently from another part, ect.
i love to write, i don't get much time for it lately but i love writing. i write fiction stories, i want to write books, i like writing little one-off scenes, i love writing poetry; my poetry club at school is one of my favorite places and groups to be at, i'm going into my 4th year with my poetry club, i've been writing poetry for ~6 years now
i like to read, haven't read a lot lately again, school put me in a reading slump for a bit. my favorite books include 'Fourth Wing' by Rebecca Yarros, and 'The Glass Girl' by Kathleen Glasgow.

I hate when social media change layouts, formats and other visual things for the app when it really do not need to be changed at all. Useually it's discord that does this and I get really upset at(I hate random unprompted/unannounced change and discord is probably my most used app/program), but this time it's tiktok. Like it'll be things that Literally NO ONE asked for and I hate it I hate it I hate it. Literally I was on tiktok not even an hour ago and it was normal and then now I go in again and suddenly profiles are set up so differently now. And it doesn't even look good it just looks stupid as hell.
Alot of times when this happens it makes me want to delete the app, program, and my account all together. I know it's a bit dumb and a non-issue but like, UGH I hate it sm.
Anyway probably won't be using tiktok for a bit now because I can't look at mine or anyone's accounts O.O
I wish every social media app allowed you to personalize your profile the way Tumblr and artfight allow you to! Without it being behind a needless pay wall(ahem DISCORD)
Like, I wish I could customize my discord acc, or my art insta or even my tt with the amount of customization options that I get with Tumblr and Artfight.

a week into artfight i would like to give out the following reminders: it is okay if you thought you were going to participate but ended up not having time. it is fine if you started out enthused and then lost steam. you do not owe anyone revenges. you are not 'behind' and you are not letting anybody down. it is a silly little game for fun. do not forget this.
There is ALMOST never going to be an argument or take or anything that is going to be black and white, cut and dry yes or no. There will almost always be a 'maybe', a 'what if'. I get a lot of ranter content in tiktok, and that's perfectly fine. However I feel like I commonly see people in the ranter community sharing takes and saying it as if it's simple and black and white. But that simply is almost never the case. This is not meant to be any kind of hate to those people at all, especially since most of that community are kids my age and younger, we're all just teenagers expressing opinions.
But I go a tiny bit nuts when I see hot takes get framed as an end all be all statement. If you do x, y, z you are ALWAYS a bad person, if you do blah blah blah that means you are just blah blah. Stuff where it's saying that something always means something else. obviously most of the time it's just a given that certain 'what if' cases are not included and don't need to be brought up in their comments. But other times it feels like we're over generalizing.
Example, I've seen a take saying that anyone who votes for someone outside of the 2 main established political parties is automatically privileged, problematic and ignorant. And while in many cases for many people, yeah i can say that's often true. But it doesn't mean that any/everyone who votes outside the 2 main parties are an issue. It is not some inherent moral wrong doing for someone to vote for the person they would most like to see in office. YES is can be privileged behavior, YES there can be a point made about how it may be seen as a better more helpful choice to pick the lesser of two evils out of the 2 political parties, but that does not always mean that picking option number 3 is wrong. This topic has SO much nuance, as politics usually do. And I think we forget that.
Another example is the take about if bread scoring needs a TW. I've seen both takes for this.
YES I would be nice for a lot of people if there was a CW/TW on the beginning of a video with bread scoring bc it can look like how skin does when cut.
NO I do not think bread cutting videos should be obligated every time to have a CW/TW. UNLESS it is dyed red inside or something like that, where you probably should put a CW. But I don't think anyone should get in trouble if they don't bc they forgot or didn't know or etc.
See that? It's called NUANCE.
People and society is ALMOST never all or nothing, yes or no, black or white, good or bad, etc. and I feel like a lot of times we forget that. I'm sure if I had the energy to think further I could give you some psychological reasoning as to why we tend to over generalize like that, but I don't RN so maybe that'll be a different post for the future or something idk.

Age PLAY
Is a kink dynamic where 2 consenting ADULTS take on a role in a roleplay as different ages to play a power play dynamic. This type of kink is also very very frequently also associated with and implements multiple other kinks, such as humiliation, impact play, degration, praise, etc.. Additionally age play can also intertwine with a form of coping, as most forms of submission in dynamics can. While submission may not intertwine with coping or be a form of coping for everyone, it can be for alot of people, or at the very least it can be very cathartic.

Age regression is a voluntary or involuntary coping mechanism most commonly used to cope with childhood trauma, as well as mental or physical chronic illness. Age regression is when someone mentally and emotionally reverts to a younger age for a period of time in order to cope. They are still the age they are bodily, but emotionally they revert to that of a kid or child to deal with PTSD, stress, anxiety, ect. It is COMPLETELY SFW and it is NOT the same or related to age play as a kink.
Someone who age regresses may giggle, wear cuter clothes at home, eat nostalgic foods, take bubble baths, watch cartoons, play nostalgic games or play with toys, ect. They act for a time like a happy giggly kid or like an overwhelming crying child. Reverting to a child-like head space may not fix the emotions or stop them, but it can make them easier to deal with and handle.
