Many, many years ago I had the good fortune to be in a high school sex ed course taught by two people, one of whom was a retired physician. He had access to various medical catalogs and bought, with his own money, a female torso model that included three different sized lumps that could be inserted in the beast "tissue". Everyone in the class learned how to do a breast exam and detect lumps. He also bought a male testicular model with similar lumps, and everyone in the class learned how to do a testicular exam and detect lumps. He also bought a female pelvic model, and everyone in the class learned how to insert and remove a tampon and a diaphragm.
This was a tremendously valuable class. I wish everyone could have access to it. But the point is that such models exist, they are just expensive. Does your gynecologist have one for you to learn on? Maybe. You should ask.
