Saving Half bad: The bastard son & the devil himself

Hi everyone, you can call me Maverick (main is @101maverick ), and i made this blog to gather as many half bad fans as possible, to help spread the word on the possibility of a revival.

I am not the only one to do this, in fact i will mainly focus on getting as many people involved with the other accounts trying to revive the show ( mainly @savehalfbad ), to reach as many people as possible!

You see, netflix revives shows if the fanbase makes enough noise (we saw this with Warrior Nun, for example), so that means if we make enough noise we are gonna get this amazing show back!

I’m sick of seeing all the fans of this amazing series give up in a “oh well” manner when they find out the series is for now dead, but i don’t have the time to inform everyone singularly so i will be doing that here!

I actually think this is a pretty good idea. Netflix shouldn't be allowed to hold shows hostage that it clearly didn't want. Besides, it would be a win-win situation if they sold the rights. They would gain money to spend on making more cannon fodder to meet the same fate 🙄 or renew shows that don't even get half the views or however they want to spend it, while we would get our shows back.💪

Really, if they were so sure the shows weren't a success, why not sell them? What have they got to lose if they're convinced the shows are not worth renewing? 😈 (Obviously I know they were much ARE and they'd very well be an even bigger success if a network put in minimal effort, but really, if Shitflix can't be asked with that they should give someone else the chance and focus on what they really want to do and do that well instead of screwing people over again and again. They don't want to do fantasy? Leave it to somebody else but don't start and cancel everything!)

I'm so not over the cancellation of the Bastard Son and the Devil Himself. They give us a gorgeous queer urban fantasy show with superb vibes and so much potential but they just did absolutely nothing for it. The show runners spun gold from straw and they treated it like a chocolate teapot. It just fills me with such rage

It’s not necessarily dead! You can look at my pinned post for more info, but there is so much you can do to help revive the show! You can sign the petition, request the title to Netflix, join the discord server, join the taglist, participate in watch parties, twitter storms and fandom collabs! If we give up we’re never going to get the second season of this show!

And it’s not impossible to revive it! The warrior nun fandom succeeded in saving it’s show, because they made enough noise, we must do that also!
