So last week I put out a poll for therians and otherkin asking whether they're alloromantic or arospec, which has mistakes. So here's the definitive version.
Before you vote, please note if your polytherian you can use the polytherian button but if all your species fit in the same one, you don't know all their behaviours, or you feel that only one affects your romantic tendencies, you don't have to use it.
You also don't have to think your orientation is related to theriantropy, this is just to see if there's correlation.

The dandelion siphonophore (Dromalia alexandri) is one of several species in the family Rhodaliidae. These siphonophores are typically found just above the seafloor, where the waters are rich with food. They use long, sticky tentacles to anchor themselves in place while other tiny tentacles grab any food drifting in the currents. Along with jellies, siphonophores (pronounced “sigh-fawn-oh-fours”) belong to a larger group called Cnidarians. Unlike their gelatinous relatives, siphonophores are colonial creatures made up of specialized segments that work together as one. They may not be familiar to most, but they’re abundant animals in the ocean. In fact, siphonophores are some of the most important predators in ocean ecosystems.

if websites in the US start requiring like age verification I think the only thing I'll even bother using the iternet for ever again is to buy shit like my cat's special food or idk fursuit making supplies and tickets for conventions. I really don't NEED social media or tumblr... I'd hate to loose my online herd but like... shit... I'm already considering just sticking to physical media. I'm just suffering from an anxious worry I guess. Typical Prey Animal things. I don't want to loose the community but I guess if I need to resort to just keeping a real notebook journal and only meeting therians at furry cons so be it?
forums, instant messaging, mailing lists (including emailing lists) and guestbooks were the most common ways of keeping in touch with folks. we've mostly been online for our history, but the silver elves pioneered it with their mailing list and newsletter
it's why we've been pushing personal websites so much--to help have a place to share your journaling and have a sense of community without the hassle of social media. it helps so much with feeling like youre A Part of the community by crafting something with your own hands instead of relying on an algorithm.
having a physical journal and meeting up irl isn't a bad idea either, but I feel like that would need a committed local mailing list to organize.
