had a nifty phantom shift last night. ordinarily, my feet are hooves. on rare occasions, paws (that's more common for my hands).

last night, they were dromaeosaurid feet. i was already laying down for the night so i didn't have to worry about keeping my sickle claw off the ground, but i still flexed them just to feel it happen. thought idly about how uncomfortable that would be for human feet, because the muscles of that first toe just aren't designed to flex and hold like that.

it didn't last very long, and was over long before i started to fall asleep, but it was a nice experience. raptor-related phantom shifts are usually my arms or my head/face/snout, not my feet.

At least one of my paleo kintypes is a Dromaeosaur, possibly Utahraptor? I suppose it’s possible it’s not specific but we’ll see what further research uncovers
