I've covered the origins of her title a few times, but her name itself not so much. I did a small delve into Tavrin's etymology a while back [here] but I'm excited to expand on it!
Tavrin
Birth-Given Name
Tavrin's birth-given name is lost to memory. Not due to amnesia, but to time. She hasn't used nor heard it since she was about 11 years old. At 109, even before her memory loss, she does not remember the name she was born into.
Created from Bhaal's dead flesh and swapped out for a drow newborn in the slums of Menzoberranzan in a household that only pretended to worship Llolth for self-preservation. Tavrin's "family" didn't care for her much at all, particularly because they always knew something was off. Though her home life was not offensively toxic or abusive, she was neglected more than just her family not having the proper means to care for her.
That's a whole backstory thing [further details here]. But in true drow fashion, the name they'd given that child did not have much thought behind it. Especially since she was a third child. Her name was randomly selected, just as her siblings' were.
I have never actually decided on what that name was, since it's inconsequential. But for funsies, I will now (and because @faeriiefire inspired me to <3). I put all the prefixes and suffixes from the [drow naming table] into a randomizer, hit random, and for authenticity took my first combo no matter what it was lol. And so, Tavrin's birth-given name was:
(i did very mild manipulation of the last name since her parents didn't choose that and it didn't make sense for their last name to imply they were noble or Llolthsworn, since they were neither)
And of course, here is her name written in drowic <3
Bhaal-Given Name
After murdering her family with the first strike of the Urge, she Iraeylene hears the voice of Sceleritas Fel for the first time. Though he does not tell her of her true heritage until she is in her 30s, he does tell her she is born for a greater purpose, and that she has a true name from her true father: Tavrin. No surname.
And while this isn't a real name with real, clear etymology, I did some delving into similar pieces to come up with what it means. It actually lined up surprisingly well considering I did this well after the fact lol.
There's no clear origin or single meaning for the full name or its components. The origins go everywhere from Kurdish to Old Norse and mean anything from a Mountain Flower to Leader.
I think my favorite tidbits I found were that "Tav" can mean something like "mark/sign" in Hebrew or "magic/witchcraft" in Old Norse.
Gustav, which is the name of the CEO's dog, is what "Tav" was derived from. Gustav means "Staff of the Gods".
Meanwhile the suffix "-rin" in old English/Celtic is used as an affectionate diminutive, like a smaller/beloved element of something greater.
Which is all pretty Bhaalspawn coded, if you ask me.
Given that the etymology is complicated and Faerun uses entirely different languages anyway, I know there's lots of room for interpretation or forgoing it altogether, but I kinda like the implication I found. So, I'm going to say that in my interpretation, her name means:
Tavrin - Marked One; Divine Descendent
What it means to me?
In my first run ever, as she was my first Tav, I had named her Nasrin just cos I liked the name. It wasn't til after the fact that I realized "Tav" was the default name and not a randomly generated one like in WoW lol. So when I remade her into a Dark Urge, I combined the names into Tavrin. And I just really like the name <3

For some reason, my mind keeps going back to Robert Eggers’ Dracula. A young woman overcome with desire, which manages to catch the interest of an undead vampire several countries away. What then, if mayhaps, Lynette’s strong desire for life meant a strong desire for well other things… so much so that it drew the attention of a particular succubus on another planet of existence? I’ll leave the rest to interpretation. But it would make a good one shot. 😭
It was a pleasure to reimagine Haarlep! The differences are far from minuscule but I wanted to kept the design closer to a cambion, retaining the wings, horns, and tail. They’re also larger in size than Lynette, cause what's more fun than an Amazon?

Oh my goodness, okay so I have an utterly disgusting love for pitch black dark romance stories/books. Like I am scared to show ANYBODY my kindle library at this point in my e-book collection. I will not sit here and lie to y'all and say that I do not agree with non-con/dub-con writing, because I love it. It might not be everybody's cup of tea but it is mine. Chapter 8 of my longfic Stealing Moonlight is where I started dipping my toes into that kind of writing. Astarion had just professed to Rhiannon that he's been madly in love with her for YEARS and she didn't have the reaction that HE wanted HER to have. So what does this crazy ascended vampire that I have obsessed over in my head do?

Don't even get me STARTED on the original Chapter 16. Oh my god that was TRULY my entire leg in the pool of non-con/dub-con/force-con.
But I deleted this chapter for a reason and rewrote it. And I like the rewrite for Chapter 16 much, MUCH better.

Okay, BEFORE the fic, Rhiannon 100% believes that she is aro/ace. She thinks that there is no way that she could ever have such devious feelings such as lust or desire. In Stealing Moonlight, Astarion is basically SHOWING her that she DOES have these feelings and that there isn't anything to be ashamed about, but doing it in the most OBSCENE way. She is a virgin. And I am scared to write the actual P in V sex scene I have planned after the chapter 19 rewrite is done...
3 - What's your OC's "I shouldn't be this turned on by this" trigger?
Forced proximity, rough handling, bite/blood play, predator/prey or hunting play. I never once claimed that this fanfiction was pure or holy, only that my OC was at ONE POINT both pure AND holy.
4 - What is your OC's hard NO?
I think multiple partners would be a hard NO for Rhia, she can barely handle Astarion touching her without freaking out. I don't think she'd be down for anal either, lol. This whole fic is about corrupting the "incorruptible" but even she (and my brain) has her limits.

Funnily enough this answer has nothing to do with Stealing Moonlight, haha! It was a one-shot where Astarion made my DUrge his consort, doing a whole "vampire bride" ritual I found on the internet, and then they both fucked all over the palace and played with each others blood O-O. Oh my god it was 30 pages long and I never ended up FINISHING IT!
7 - Do you have any crazy projects planned for the future?
Heh, yes. I have already planned out chapter 20 for Stealing Moonlight, aka their "consummation" chapter as a few of my commenters have been asking for xD
Then for A Dowry of Smoke, I have a non-con/dub-con/hate fuck planned for their wedding night. So another "consummation" chapter I guess.
I don't really write one shots, I've tried but they never get finished. It's just not in my destiny I guess. I have 2 published one-shots that I'm not proud of in the slightest, they are FINE I guess. I will never tag/link them on anything though. Probably the only two one-shots I will ever give to AO3.

I fully lean into a Dominant/submissive relationship for Gale and Eirael in Graceless for a few reasons. First, I think it's incredibly hot. Second, Gale is a man who winds up obsessed with the idea of godhood. If that isn't someone who demands obedience and devotion, I don't know what to tell you.
2. Is your oc a virgin, blushing maiden, or sexual fiend? or aro/ace? or something in between?
Eirael is very much a virgin before meeting Gale. She believed, in part, that her whole devotion to Mystra is what brought her back to divinity in the first place.
3. What’s your OC’s “I shouldn’t be this turned on by this” trigger?
Being used. Eirael is as submissive-coded as it gets, but the idea of being objectified for someone's pleasure arouses her more than she feels it should. A close second, and probably the more controversial answer is that she can't get off without a little pain (which ties back to corporal punishment she subjected herself to at the convent) and that twists it a little in her mind. Sex is supposed to be her cleansing fire, something ugly she does to feel clean again.
4. What is your OC's hard NO?
This is really bad to say, probably, but I don't think Eirael is "worldly" enough to have hard limits (at this point in the story). Without spoilers, I can confidently say there comes a time when she realizes she has to put bodily fluids on the No list.
5. What is the most debauched VP/Art you have ever created?
I have a screenshot with Gale and Eirael holding hands. But that's memeing. I haven't done anything truly naughty yet. Yet.
6. What is the wildest NSFW smut you have ever thought up? Did you write it?
There may or may not be a M/M/F threesome of Eirael with Gale and Gale's simulacrum planned for Graceless, but I guess you'll just have to read and find out.

So many. I have a Dark Urge character named Fenrik who needs some time in the spotlight. I have Ula who very badly needs to dom Halsin. I have a Female Sole Survivor who needs to fail at honeypotting. I have a Fem V who needs to hatefuck her ex who happens to be Goro Takemura (because your girl is all about May/December relationships). So. Many. Ideas.
