Saying this very gently to the Galemancers who prefer to play as body type 1 & 2 tall characters:

If you use Disguise Self and kiss Gale as a body type 3 or 4 tall character and as a short character, you'll understand.
Especially as a short character.
The animations are sweeter and more intimate than bt1 & bt2.
Morphing into Default Durge or Karlach (or any bt3 or bt4 disguise) gets a camera angle change and their hand caressing Gale's cheek in one of the kisses. The hug has contact instead of several inches of empty air between them.
My gnome gets real hugs. And gives him neck kisses.
When she touches his face, he puts his hand over hers instead of craw-gripping her forearm in a way that looks almost like he doesn't want it to be there.
She grabs the back of Gale's neck in the "don't tease me" kiss, not his bicep all awkwardly.
These are not modded poses, they are just how Gale kisses shorties.

I don't have any VP wips so writing will have to do! though admittedly, I have very little of that available too at the moment, cos I just started the next chapter of DLMKY. And this scene is still VERY much being worked into what it needs to be (there's like...3 ways I want it to go and I haven't landed on which one yet).
But how about a scenario where we go to talk to Minthara in the goblin camp...and she recognizes you? How interesting that must be to a durge who doesn't remember their past π
The whirr of the scrying eye fades away. The wooden planks of the bridge creak under their weight. The woman on the other sideβNightwarden Mintharaβis currently berating a goblin for some abysmal failure.
Failure to find the grove, she realizes. Just as she starts to listen in, however, the tadpole connects with hers. Just like with Gutβthe chill of ice brushes across her mind as the phantom of memory darkens the room in her thoughts, reality unaffected. It hovers around Minthara, like a distorted vision in paralyzed sleepβpale skin, paler eyesβ¦and red. One of the Chosen of the Absolute. Quick as it shudders into existence, it shudders back out.
The hair on the back of Tavβs neck stands on end. The scar on her face aches. The tadpole behind her eye throbs.
Sheβs more than just a Chosenβ¦whoever she is.
Thereβs no time to dwell on it. The goblin scrambles past them as they approach, and Mintharaβs focus shifts to her. Tavrin catches a glimpse of a tattoo on the womanβs neck: a pentagonal emblem, divided with hooks at each corner. She knows that symbol from somewhere, but canβt quite place it.
The Nightwardenβs eyes land on Tav, and widen. Curiosity swirls in the red pools of her iris as they dart around Tavβs features: her hair, her eyes, her neck. Her voice is deep and distinctive, but the authority from her orders to the goblin has shifted into something akin to cautious fascination.
βLβRenor,β she greets with both intrigue and respect. βThe Absoluteβs blessing reaches deep indeed. Praise be, sister.β
Tav blinks onceβthe only outward indication of her inner shock that quakes her very core. βYou know me?β
βHm.β Minthara huffs, gaze narrowing ever so slightly. βI know of you, though we have never crossed paths. You were quite elusive in Menzoberranzanβ¦but it seems even a heretic such as yourself recognizes the Absoluteβs glory.β
Tav files away every hint in those few short sentences. LβRenor is a moniker, not a name. Elusive. Hereticβ¦to be heard of even when not known. Clearly she had a reputation in Lolthβs city.

So, I went to Comicon the other day and got to meet Devora Wild and Maggie Robertson, who were absolutely lovely btw ππ
Was doing the usual fan thing of telling Dev how the game really improved my art career and got me so many art commissions and how thankful I am for everyone involed in creating it. She asked what people commission, I could have said something about all the classy or funny art pieces buttt I panicked and said "people kissing mostly :)" then just stood there like a lemon
She was very amused and lent in and whispered 'omg really?? Is any of it ever... More explicit?? ' and I just nodded π

I'm very much the person who is like "astrology isn't literally real but it is fascinating and often aligns with truths which makes it even more fascinating" so I love exploring it and seeing what rings true and what doesn't <3 I generally get my astrology info from [here]!
So, I chose Tavrin's birthday primarily based on what star sign I thought fit her best, so technically this is rigged. But it's fiction, so who cares lol. And technically...she was never born, but she was "created" in an unholy Bhaalist ritual on Uktar 1, 1383 (essentially November 1). It was an arbitrary date in canon, but I did want it to be near "Liar's Night" without being "right on it", and Uktar being known as "The Rotting" just felt very ominous and durge-like.
Tavrin doesn't know this is her creation/birthday though lol. Eventually, someone (not sure who yet) will announce that her Rebirth Day is sometime in Marpenoth I think. Whichever day that ends up being when Jergal revives her after defying Bhaal (waiting to see when it happens in game and in DLMKY when I finish plot outline). This doesn't affect her horoscope though, it's purely ceremonial.

Tavrin is actually a Scorpio in both Sun and Venus! So let's explore how these traits fit (or don't fit) her!
