Seraphina's birthday is 4 Ches - which roughly lines up with 4th March. And I'll be honest... I kind of gave Seraphina her birthday based on her personality traits lining up best with Pisces traits. So, it's little surprise that many of these really do scream 'Phina' 😅

Overview

Pisces are very friendly and often find themselves in company of very different people. They are selfless and always willing to help others, a very fine intent for as long as they don’t expect anything much in return. Tolerant and compassionate, they could do too much for other people out of good intentions, forgetting about their own wellbeing in the process.

Love & Relationships

The sign of Pisces is a sign of incorrigible romantics. They are very gentle and extremely generous with their partner, but in search for love tend to forget about their moral values from time to time.

Short-term relationships and adventures are not typical for this zodiac sign. Once they discover the inner state of belief in someone they start sharing their life with, they become deeply loyal and honest, as if their sole purpose in life was to find the person standing in front of them and making them happy.

So as many of you probably know, I'm a little in love with my Snow Elf girlie, Eirael. But what you might not know? I've been doing a whole lot of worldbuilding behind the scenes of Graceless. Which includes developing cultures, cities, hierarchies, language, customs and traditions for this forgotten race of the Forgotten Realms. Out of that worldbuilding, came a story...

Pirittil's story.

It feels good to finally get some words on the page for this idea that's been bouncing around in my head for ages. Perhaps it isn't as polished as some of my fanfic writing, but the exposition muscle is a bit atrophied from not having written an original work in a while.

I'd like to dedicate some space in this blog to developing Piri and her brother Aulither as the story goes. I'm excited to share her with you!

I got number 29 for Ethery -  Do they usually live up to their own ideals?

And of course, a question that has no proper answer. Ethery is a classic example of chaotic neutral, her moral compass is a moral weathervane on a good day, on a bad day it just doesn't work at all. However, she has some well defined values, most of all loyalty and standing for those she considers "her people". As her past is mostly lost to her amnesia (and it's very likely for better), her people are those she meets on her way from the nautiloid to the Netherbrain. No matter if they are close friends like Astarion, Jaheira and Karlach, lovers like Halsin, or respected aliens like Lae'zel, Ethery will readily give her life - or burn a whole city - to protect each and every of them.

Now a question for myself... and I rolled 7 - What trait of theirs bothers you the most?

Hmm. It's a good question... I've been trying my best to avoid turning Ethery into a Mary Sue kind of character, and, as much as I care for her, I recognize her faults.

I think her darkest side is spite - she is driven by spite just as much as by loyalty, love, and friendship. Ethery is not a forgiving kind, she has a rather bad temper and is no stranger to pettiness. Sometimes good things come out of this: in the Emerald Grove she only agreed to go find Halsin in the goblin camp, because she was infuriated by Kagha and wanted the actual First Druid to tear her head off. Little did she know...

Emmy's question: What memory do they visit the most often?

•She often revisits the memory of when she discovers Fanden and Therran were her brothers. She also thinks about the time they all became immortal, because it was a total unexpected surprise. And, when she lies in bed with Kairon, every night she revisits the day she first met him when they were kids. 💖

Fanden's question: How easy is it to earn their trust?

Not easy at all due to his childhood abandonment issues and being used in former relationships. After he started dating Halsin and their relationship progressed, he then started to be able to trust a little more easily.

Therran's question: How easy is it to get them to laugh?

SO easy! He's such a happy guy and he laughs at almost everything. 😂

My question: Do you prefer your characters in their canon universe?

Absolutely. I prefer them having their immortality, the thought of Emmy introducing her brothers to her friends (Halsin and Fanden end up together, Karlach and Therran end up together) and because of her, they have happy and fulfilling relationships. I much prefer redeemed Gortash who is a good father to Emmy, Fanden, and Therran. I absolutely prefer this universe.

Talon's question: How do they put themselves to bed at night (reading, singing, thinking?)

Talon prefers to fall asleep with someone to cuddle- a friend, a lover, a child, a sibling, a pet, it doesn't matter who, just that he has someone to snuggle. He's usually asleep shortly after his head hits the pillow. 

Tathtran's question: How does jealousy manifest itself in them (they become possessive, they become aloof, etc)? 

When jealous, he'll show off a little, touching and kissing on whichever of his lovers has attracted the attention. If whoever is paying too much attention to his lover won't back down, Tathtran is willing to go so far as to fuck his lover in front of the other person, just to mark his territory further. 

Riellean's question: How do they cope with confusion (seek clarification, pretend they understand, etc)?

He will absolutely nod and pretend he understood and then ask for it to be repeated. If it has to be repeated more than twice, he'll just give up and do whatever. 

Narali's question: If they were asked to explain the difference between romantic and platonic or familial love, how would they do so?

"Your family is your family, which is why you love them. Friends are friends and you don't love them unless you start dating them."

My question: Have they always had the same physical appearance, or have you had to edit how they look?

Talon gained his floppy ears about the time I finished his first playthrough and started drawing him/writing fics about him. I even specifically searched out mods to replay him with floppy ears because of it. Here's a comparison between a screenshot of his initial run, and how I draw him:

Tathtran started out with skin "like charcoal" (actual quote from a fic I started writing about him at the same time as he was created), but when I started using more heavy appearance mods I had to remake him, and I decided that his pure black shiny eyes would look better if his skin didn't contrast so heavily. So now he's much darker, with metallic tattoos: "carved from darkness, with markings that caught the light like a beetle's carapace" (another actual quote from my fic). Here's a comparison between his initial creation and his current appearance (he also gained a distain for shirts)

Riellean gained a bunch of freckles and lost his own floppy ears in favor of long and sharp ears. Here's a comparison between one of the first arts I did of him vs the most recent one.

Narali has stayed almost completely the same, save for gaining and losing freckles at random every time I draw him. (Ft: @finnik-kun 's Sarrin)

Rhiannon - Question 28: Would they prefer a lie over an unpleasant truth?

She would definitely prefer the unpleasant truth. She believes that it is much easier to deal with the truth than become blindsided by a lie. Honestly, so do I xD

Rowan - Question 7: What triggers nostalgia for them most often? Do they enjoy that feeling?

Oof. Okay, so I would have to say that rather large fires trigger "nostalgia" for her (think bonfires, funeral pyres, etc). But this feeling is NOT pleasant in any way shape or form. The first fire that she ever caused (unintentionally) was the fire that reacted to her fear, engulfing her entire childhood home and burning her parents alive within it.

My Question - D) Have they always had the same physical appearance, or have you had to edit how they look?

With Rhiannon, I've only ever changed her hair and her war paint. But other than that, her physical appearance has stayed the same from the beginning. The sun kissed skin, covered head to toe in freckles, long golden-blonde hair, and azure blue eyes have always been her staples and I wouldn't have it any other way! With Rowan, yes I have changed her appearance SO many times. First I changed her hair, then I found out that she and Rhiannon had the same face so I gave her a new one, THEN I completely ret-conned her and turned her from a Human to an Elf because every time I tried to do any Rowan VP her forehead was just weird and I couldn't find any human faces that looked right. She still has the strawberry blonde hair and the violet eyes though.

I said I'd eventually write Gale and Ellith's catastrophic first and only night together... Enjoy (still a very rough draft though) 😏

The wizard nodded in their direction, and despite the alcohol buzzing through their brain, it was enough for Ellith to understand what he was planning. Over the course of the weeks, Ellith had learned to trust Gale; not only as a talented wizard, but also as someone who wouldn’t judge them too harshly, as a clever and sensible man they could rely on and with whom they could either joke or have lengthy nerdy discussions. So obviously, the bard didn’t hesitate; they spread their arm wings-like, preparing themself to fall backward on the bed they were sure would soon appear. Eyes closed, and with an amused smile on their lips, they let their body dip backward… All they heard during their fall – which seemed to mast much longer than it should have – was Gale’s voice shouting “Wait!!” Too late. Instead of reaching a cosy mattress, they kept on falling until their body ultimately hit the ground with a thud. A dulling pain spread through the bard’s back and butt, but quite fortunately, they didn’t hit their head. “Are you all right, Ellith?” Gale asked as he kneeled near their body, laying still, eagle-like, on the ground. “Where is the bed?” Ellith murmured, keeping their eyes closed and their voice stern, a wince adorning their feature. “I… was about to summon it but there was a mosquito… it distracted me.” “Ah.” The wizard gently took their hand and tried to pull them up, but Ellith body was heavy and limb as a rag-doll. They weren’t in much pain, but the fall had numbed their body and intoxicated mind.
