After being unsure of his design for so long, I’ve finally made something official for him that I can be proud of!

And Kay is very capable of fighting, but it’ll mostly be in self defense! Chances are though, if there’s a chance she can get away, she’s gonna run instead.

Kay actually has powers, one of those being super speed. She often pairs this with her partial hologram capabilty, which has never been unlocked to its fullest. Basically, her body can automatically glitch parts of itself into a hologram when needed, which is useful if someone has a hold of her. Her speed trail also appears as hologram silhouette thingies :v

But when forced to the offensive, she does have more powers she can use to fight. Her whole character is based on music, so to see her in action is a whole aesthetic — techno in particular! (This isn’t to say it’s her favorite genre of music, but at least her boss fight would include a dope soundtrack.) With a punching, kicking, or “launching” motion, she can shoot projectiles at her opponent. They have electric effects and even sounds that can each play at a different pitch, usually depending on the speed (results varying). Another powerful move she has summons what look like beat equalizers from the ground, the walls, or the ceiling, if available. They can serve many functions: platforms, a catapult, a trampoline, or a cushion for safe landing. But for fighting purposes, they’re great for striking someone from a distance! It’s a move that often looks like earthbending.

Kay is stronger than she thinks, but she still doesn’t prefer to use her powers unless it’s life and death, and ordinary tactics don’t work. She’ll normally just punch, kick, even bite if necessary.
