LIKE Scars an elf so like will he live hundreds of years after Grian D,: or do that all share the same time of 100 ish years or so

Hello hello! I shall first answer about omega!Scar and alpha!Grian au before diving into the sad life stuff ๐
Oh yeah Kings games would have been much better, cause yeah I can see worst case being someone getting puked on lmaooo. But then again Scar is a lot more accident prone so I could see him going through an accidental death loop elsewhere that would knock him out for a bit ๐ญ Grian would end up being a lot more overprotective I think as a result and probably rather overbearing without realising it. And I think her name would still end up being Poppy. For a long while though Grian wasn't sure because Scar did genuinely like Leia, but all he could do was grin and bear it cause what was he going to do? Tell Scar no? After nearly dying giving birth to their baby that Grian put in him unawares? It was *this* close to being Leia for good, but I think Scar would have a rediscovery of the significance of the flowers and change his mind and go with Poppy (much to Grian's relief lol)
Now back to the OG question. And oooh boy yeah the life expectancy ๐ญ I've absolutely thought about what happens with it's Time ๐ญ
No, Scar won't live for hundreds of years. They all have the general same life expectancy of up to 100 years. That being said, they do live for a long time - and the likelihood of living to see their great grandchildren is high. How I expect for them to go though?
It's been many years later, and its an evening that feels as normal as any other. Scarโs trying to make dinner....but he's just so tired. He doesn't think its all him. He can feel it through the bond that Grian is too.
It simple, just a bowl of basic spaghetti bolognese. Just like their first meal together as a mated couple. Only neither Grian or Scar have the energy to really eat. They look at eachother over the table with a smile; knowing this is probably it .
Scar holds out his withered hand, asking for Grian to take it. They have a slow dance in the living room. There's no music, but if Scar concentrates hard enough, he thinks he can hear the song that played at their wedding. An entire lifetime ago now. He looks over his mate, admiring every silver curl and every laugh line and wrinkle. Grian leans against him.
"I think we did pretty good..."
Scar presses a kiss against his mate's temple, his most familiar form of song and dance. "Yeah, yeah we did."
"....can we go to bed now? I'm pretty tired."
"Of course, light of my life...."
There are no "I love yous" it feels too final that way. They know they love eachother more than any words can express. When its time, both of them warm and curled against eachother in their nest, Scar is the first to pass. Because even years later, Scar can't bring himself to be in a world without Grian...
