and by that i mean the fic is likely to be posted sometime this year LOL. anyway im still writing and the other platonic bloodymary fic that was meant to be a side draft is now at 14k words sooo. i will still be writing for a while to come. sorry if anybody is disappointed by the wait!
lil update to the doc cus im getting way more into the Martian / Eden dialect than i was before, it's super interesting to work out the differences between it and the Future English / COI dialect. there's a lot of fun world-building stuff that comes alongside the Edenic Martian that i loveee thinking about
also somebody please tell me if that dialogue line sounds too Danish??? im fighting for my life trying to make this language distinct while also drawing from Latin and other pre-existing languages, since that's the in-universe origin behind its existence. it should be fun and logical but also not jar readers who speak a different language into going hey that's just. mine. cool thanks!
