hello! Your art is very cool, and I'm wondering how you do your lighting on characters? It looks very nice

oh wow!! ty so much for the kind words☺️☺️

my lighting style took a long time for me to discover and i'm pretty happy with how it's turned out so here's a mini tutorial:

i use a multiply clipping mask of dark red to apply shadow

then, i choose a light source and erase accordingly. i then alpha lock the lineart and apply white along the lit edge.

finally, i use the fill bucket to grab the white bits, use blur and halftone effects, and set the layer to overlay to achieve that glowy effect
