I've been able to write some more than usual lately, and actually got into Emily's backstory a bit. Her abusive, cheating husband Satan had assasinated (so to speak), is being mourned here. Emily did love the Duke before the fact that he was a duke got to his head. Emily is a strong person, she just got stuck in a very unfortunate situation only to fall in love all over again. Other than the story of Mini's grandparents (TBD), it's probably my favorite out of the couples.
