According to Yik Yak, the computer lab in the tech center smells like sweat and musk, so â- whoâs getting laid in the computer lab at the tech center?
That thought is vaguely disturbing and extremely unhygienic...
Does it look like I care about others feelings and thoughts? Iâm not an empath and I honestly could care less about their shit.
Oh wow, I really didn't think there were actual people like that...
It's a pity I was wrong.
Okay, I have an essay due tomorrow and an article deadline. Iâve been waiting fifteen minutes for my coffee⌠see the problem? Do I have to climb behind the fucking counter and make it myself?
I think that's probably not legal.... But hey, whatever floats your boat.
But, that requires movingâŚÂ
Well, yes but the end result is desirable, right? Why give up happiness and peace of mind for a few minutes of well, laziness? Or you could always wear headphones, if that's better for you.

âŚâŚâŚ
I'm not an alcoholic ââ just dramatic.Â
Oh, no I didn't mean that! I justâhave a habit of making sure people are healthy, it's, um, important.
Gosh, I'm so sorry. I'm not rude, I promise, just nosy. Â
Someoneâs got that All About the Bass song on fuckinâ repeat. I swear Iâm about to go insane - I canât even anymore.
Why don't you go for a walk or something? Maybe when you return the dreadfully catchy song will be gone.
All of my minions are stupid, worthless and simply dreadful to be around. They destroy my brain cells. I canât go on a day without them listening to a single word that tell them or what I ask. Itâs like talking to a freaking wall. I might as well hire new minions â because theyâre all worthless. Theyâre meant to obey all rules and do what is asked. Thatâs what minions are.
I'm pretty sure they're also people, y'know, with feelings and thoughts of their own. You should treat them as such. I'm also pretty sure slavery was abolished in this country, but that's just me.
Yes. Â Have her seen fingernails? Â Ay dios mio, just thinking about her cuticles is making me shudder.
Well, that's not really the weird thing about her... But I guess you do have a point.Â
It's the weird staring, I think, maybe the hissing too?
Yeah, that was weird, but sheâs really old, I donât think she could move fast enough to kill anyone. Unless she poisoned your tea, I guess thatâs possible.
I still donât get why you think sheâs creepy though.Â
She is the type to poison your tea, isn't she?
It's hard to point out, some people are simply naturally creepy. Like this guy I used to go to middle school with that ate glue, he always gave me the creeps. He's in jail now, so I guess I was right.

Does saying âIâm sorry, Iâm busyâ work better than just âIâm busyâ? Iâm not really sorry, but Iâm willing to pretend I am if it helps people take the hint.
Well, that's not much of a hint at all, is it? I'm not here to bother you, anyway, just here to study.
Unless I'm bothering you if I do that too.
Itâs official. Iâve got the chills ââ the chills.
I am about âthis" close to stealing my roommateâs booze and injecting it straight into my veins.
Cold turkey is bitch. A cold hearted, merciless bitch.
That... doesn't sound very good at all. You should go to the hospital, or the nurse's office at the very least. If it's withdrawal, things can get pretty nasty, pretty fast..Â
Do you honestly think a feeble old lady wants to slit your throat, pull your guts out, and bake them into a pie? Because if you do thatâs kind of fucked up, man, and you might need to see someone about that.Â
It's never the ones you expect. Everyone thought Ted Bundy was a nice young man until he was found out.
But if we're being literal, no. I don't think the librarian wants to murder me. Still, she does give me the creeps.
Popping the cherry - pier edition / Ryan & Brook
This was a thing, now, apparently. Totally ignoring the whole cyber-pedophile and stalking that goes on nowadays, Brook picks out her interactions by people who talk to her over the internet. It has to take a sense of âI donât careâ-ness for her to be so willing to jump at an opportunityâ which was totally true, by the way, because Brookâs always been one to accept how things were and not fight them. If she was destined to be catfished by a serial killer and have her body thrown into the lake, then so be it.
The lake and its dock was one of Brookâs favorite places on campus, actually, but thatâs mainly because she had been there before she was even an Aleman student. Both her siblings went to Aleman, so whenever Brook was forced to visit along with her parents, her brother and sisterâs go-to sightseeing place was the lake because they didnât really know any other places on campus that werenât dorm-room parties or the back of a classroom. It was tranquil- which was weird for Brook to admit, honestly, because there had never been many things in her life that actually made her feel calm.
Besides the pills that she had downed as she was getting to leave - those had no choice but to make her feel calm. Give it an hour, at least, and theyâd begin to make Brook feel tired, and groggy, but she could only assume that sheâd find herself hanging out with someone new for only so long. An hour felt like that was pushing it, so Brook could probably dip out before she found herself lazily lounging on the dock and constantly yawning.Â
Just because she was wearing her favorite, leopard-print bra, Brook decided to dress in her sleeveless shirt that also exposed the sides of her body where her ribcage was. With black leggings, and doc martens, Brook was out the door with her big headphones covering her head. Pandora was usually Brookâs go-to source for music, since she was horrible at decision making and deciding on a song, or album, was such a big commitment. Sheâd just let a shuffle in the cloud decide for her.
Within minutes, Brook was edging towards the pier, fingers gripping at the straps of her backpack that hung from her shoulders. Her head nodded lightly the beat of the music that coursed into her ears, eyes surveying the people nearby, looking for a certain familiar face. Brook grabbed her phone out from her pocket to thumbs up when the corner of her eye caught feet nearing her, and Brook looked up just in time to see Ryan standing near her. A small smile formed upon the girlâs lips as she moved her headphones off her head and onto her shoulders, closing the app blindly with her thumb.
"Hey," Brook greeted back as she stuffed her phone back into her back pocket, trying to control her eyes from not checking the other out and just totally failing. Brookâs eyes snapped back to the otherâs face. âYeah, well, I canât help but get a little excited when a pretty girl invites me out.â Smooth. The smile that was on Brooklynâs features toyed into a half-smirk by that point. She noticed a certain fidgety nature about the other girl, and Brook couldnât put her finger on if that made her uncomfortable or flattered because it seemed as if she made the other nervous. Brook moved her hand out, though, for a shake, to help alleviate the nerves, hopefully. âNice to officially meet you in person, Ryan.â
The other girl was attractive, though in an unconventional way. She was sexier than pretty, Ryan thought, her flashy clothes and confident stance made sure of that. Ryan was slightly shorter than her, but not by much. She thought that she seemed like she was nice enough, or charismatic enough, at least. There was something about her though that was unusual, but she couldnât quite pinpoint what it was. Perhaps it was nothing; after all sheâd been imagining things lately.
Ryan gave Brook a half smile, noticing the otherâs eyes traveling through her body. It made her feel exposed and vaguely uncomfortable, as it always did when somebody checked her out. Still, she ignored the look, eyes widening an unnoticeable fraction at the mention of asking out, âI didnât invite you out, if anything you were the one who insisted on skipping homework,â she pointed out, though she had a feeling the girl was playing with her.
Ryan took the offered hand and shook it, âNice to officially meet you too,â she replied with a kind smile. âYouâre taller in person,â she joked, âI hope youâre not a serial killer too, thatâd spoil everything,â she said, putting her hands in the pockets of the black sweater.
âSo, what do you usually do around the pier?â she asked; genuinely curious, âYou are the pier expert here after allâ she said, offering a small smile to the other girl. Ryan had always had a passion for understanding how other people thought, why they acted the way they did. So much that she had considered majoring in psychology, though her passion for nursing was bigger than her passion for the human psyche.Â
"We should go eat something, I haven't eaten since this morning. And that was only a bagel," she said, suddenly aware of how hungry she was.
Popping the cherry - pier edition / Ryan & Brook
Ryan sat back on her desk chair, a small smile tugging at her lips. She knew that she shouldnât put her homework aside for socializing â she never did while she was on high school. But this girl was so⌠magnetic; sheâd never met anyone like that before. She looked up at the wall, right where the schedule that dictated her life was plastered. She stared at it for a minute, trying to figure out how to weasel in some spare time and still manage to do everything else on time.
Well, for one she could move forward the two oâclock break she had on Tuesday to today, and study then. Or maybe pull an all-nighter on Saturday night and skip her morning jog on Sunday. The two oâclock break sounded healthier, but it would also put a time limit to spend with the other girl... Maybe an all-nighter wouldn't be so bad, she did love coffee after all.
With a pleased smile she stretched out and looked towards the clock on her bedside table, she had ten minutes to get there and meet with Brook. At the thought of the other girl her stomach did⌠something funny, kind of like it was about eat itself on its gastric fluids. She was sure, however, that it was only out of excitement for meeting a possible friend, sheâd never had many friends back home.
She shook her head and hurriedly took off her shirt, grabbing a blue one from the floor and sniffing it. After determining it was clean enough she put it on, she grabbed her favorite hoodie from the chair and proceeded to put on her shoes, briefly brushing her hair. She was about to head off but stopped herself. A bit of lipstick wouldnât hurt her, right? Just so her lips wouldnât dry in the autumn air. She smiled at herself in the mirror and walked out the door, full on ignoring the identical second tube of lipstick that was sitting in the bathroom counter, next to the first.
The walk to the pier was a short one, though also very enjoyable. There were students everywhere, giving the campus a sense of being alive. She crossed the pool and dodged into the trail that led to the pier. At the sight she stopped in her tracks, taking everything in.
It was breathtaking. Ryan had always had a love for lakes, but this one must have been the most beautiful she had ever seen. She stood there for a moment, just looking in. She would definitely come more often when she had the chance.
Coming to her senses, she started to look for the other girl, scanning the pier for dark locks. She glimpsed the darker skinned girl and her stomach did the whole eat itself act again. Shaking it off she headed towards the other girl.
âHey,â Ryan said as she approached her, âdidnât expect to find you already here,â she gave Brook a smile, unsure of what to do with her hands.

Most people canât procrastinate one more night?Â
You arenât wrong, itâs still a sad sight to see. If things stay this quiet I might actually go insane.
I guess they could, but it's still pretty early on. I suspect higher levels of procrastination later in the school year.
Why don't you make some noise then? When you can, fix it. That's my motto.
Oh, I do want to know. But Iâll save that question for a rainy day. It was pretty cute, if Iâm being honest. Iâm popping your Aleman Pier cherry? This day just keeps getting better and better. Meet me there, and Iâll see you soon.
You got it. Um, yeah I guess you could put it that way. I will, see you soon then.
