Of course she wasnât what she expected exactly, but her guess was close. One of her guesses was that she herself would be taller, as she stood at 5â10 and was even taller in boots, it was both unfortunate yet laughable. Rather than continue checking out her new friend, her thoughts moved to the pizza. In her head, pizza was really a food sent from the gods, whichever gods they might be, she didnât care.
âPizza, yes, good, love it.â She said shortly, she hadnât actually realized how hungry she was until then, she hadnât eaten all day due to the fact she just didnât feel like pulling herself out of bed. âAw, you remembered, itâs like weâre already dating.â A laugh escaped her, the smug look she had before returning. She knew it wasnât the best idea to flirt with people she had literally just met, but she hardly had any morals anyways.
âWhatever you want for meâ, that could be anything, Lauren was mentally making jokes about how she could just bring her tap water and claim it was some new fancy alcohol, but she really wasnât in the mood for being punched in the face. Maybe another day. But if she was choosing, she was just going to pick her favorites. Out of the variety, her favorites were blueberry vodka and coconut rum. Both were oddly flavored and many who were just looking to drink hated them, so alongside them she chose just plain vodka. As for the last bottle, she was taking along some odd pink drink sheâd taken from her mother, if middle aged ladies like it so much it had to be worth something, at least thatâs what she thought.
âThatâs what they call me.â Lauren raised an eyebrow, entering the room with the bottles, a jug of orange juice, and shot glasses. It came as a surprise that the girl knew her name, that is until she saw an essay paper sticking out from under her bed, that explains that. But, she had yet to learn the name of her companion for the night. âSo, are you gonna tell me your name or should I just refer to you as âyouâ forever?â She thought it might be interesting to see how that would play out, not knowing someoneâs name for the entirety of you knowing them. Setting the bottles and shots glasses on the ground, she sat in the middle of the room and began arranging the glasses into the shape of a triangle.
âSo,â Laurenâs focus went to taking the cap off of the rum bottle, she could never quite get it off with ease âtell me about yourself. Whatâs your major, backstory, family life, favorite movies, anything.â Her words moved smoothly and softly even while she looked like she was about to break the bottle before finally flipping off the cap. Her next move was to take a swig of it and move her gaze to the girl in front of her.
