If I ever write a fantasy races into anything, I'm going to write a human-like species except they're absurdly communal. They're highly social pack animals and literally can't do anything alone and for themselves. They'll be really efficient in groups of three and four, and can manage if you have two, but they straight-up cannot do anything alone. Leave one with enough tools to prepare and cook a meal and it'll sit next to them starving, completely petrified by executive dysfunction. But ask one to make you a meal, and they pick up immediately.
Other intelligent races - unless very familiar with them and their ways - fucking hate these guys, because they're apparently both completely incapable of caring for themselves, but also very concerned with making sure you have a healthy sleep schedule. They're easily distracted with opportunities to help each other, constantly drop and pick up each others' work, and have a hard time wrapping their concept around books, sculptures or shirts that have less than four creators, altogether.
Mom Friend Overdrive is the only way these creatures are able to function.
