Not New and Definitely Not Improved!

My condo is right at an intersection and the Internet and cellular issues are well enough known that a major corporation put up a new cell tower and laid down all new fibre optic cables. This fixed nothing Internet related, but delivery has been near miraculous ever since.

Walmart grocery? Beautiful. Expiration dates? Stunning. Cancelled/substituted items? Maybe one in ten orders. Everything is immaculately packed, the bread's on top, cold items are all in the same bag. My delivery instructions are followed. Items are never left in the lobby or taken to the wrong building.

Door Dash? Same deal, drivers are polite, expiry dates are far out, delicate items are packed in top, delivery instructions followed perfectly.

Pizza? Chinese? Vietnamese? I have never waited more than half an hour for my food no matter how far away it's coming from.

Why else would such an objectively simple gadget be an absolute nightmare to use all of the time?

They are the physical incarnation of a Karen's sense of entitlement, a retail worker's unending frustration and the transcendent rage of a Chihuahua.

I'm legitimately worried for their health - Ariana Grande went from appearing slim but healthy and totally normal to whatever this walking case of starvation is. Cynthia Erivo is in arguably worse condition.
