an eye for an eye

• there was a video left by thaddeus that we never saw

• “eight magicians against a world wide criminal network. i like our chances.” line was chopped

• thaddeus and merritt having a drink together (maybe gave more context to their friendship; he seemed more upset than everyone else about his death?)

• thaddeus’s death scene was weirdly edited

• the reveal seemed like it had several scenes missing, and probably a flashback scene for charlie’s death

• i’m 100% convinced there must have been a scene where charlie did that trick veronika was talking about BEFORE the reveal (like in front of the horsemen) so we got a better clue

• “all the horsemen’s flashback scenes were cut, aka “it’s about to get…wilder?”

• i think they shot about 3 alternative endings and that’s why it seems so weird and clunky. they weren’t sure if they were coming back for a 4th one, and now they are praying they do with that ending

• there was some early mentions of daniel radcliffe appearing in a cut of this movie??? maybe he was cut too

• scene where bosco, june and charlie were in a karaoke bar was cut / alternate daniel appearance “for some reason i need you” / “my atlas was spot on” “i’ll be the judge of that”

• scene with the room with all the mirrors that merritt goes into was cut (he goes into the room and we never see it again) — a scene where henley, charlie and bosco go back there is also cut. this might have helped set up the illusion for later on or something

• “open sesame” “way to represent, merritt” “you never know” “i think you do know”
