I feel like after Swiftpaws death, he was kinda angry and guilty and confused and he didn’t really talk to anyone at first, and everyone just left him alone for the most part because they didn’t know what to do to help him. After a couple of days though, word gets around to Gorsepaw that another apprentice has been ruthlessly killed because of Tigerstar, and being the sweetie he is, he decides to check on him and see how he’s doing. Swiftpaw is a bit hostile at first, but he quickly warms up to Gorsepaw and talks to him and it’s really mutally beneficial to both of them. Gorsepaw realizes this and starts bringing in other apprentices he’d met and it starts like and awkward group therapy session at first but they quickly become a more established group, meeting regularly and eventually giving themselves the name StarClan Apprentice Club. Only kits and apprentices are allowed to join, and it’s basically just a place for StarClans younger residents to hang out, talk, and just be kids. More and more kits and apprentices join very quickly (the only time there was any issue was when Bagderfang wanted to join, but that was quickly resolved by a unanimous vote that changed the rule to kits, apprentices, and Badgerfang only). They discuss their lives before, hold compititions, play pranks, and help all new arrivals. Any kit or apprentice that goes to StarClan can be assured that there’s a hoard of cats their age ready and willing to talk to them, be their friend, and generally help them to feel safe and at home. All in all it’s a place of healing and happiness and I love it with all my heart.

actually, i do know how to explain it! if you have to turn a political movement that protests against systemic violence and racism into an aesthetic for it to become worthy of your attention, you do not actually care about said movement. people are dying, cops are getting away with murder, the government has so much blood on its hands--protests are not pretty, revolution is not pretty, fighting for your rights and those of others is not pretty. stop trying to change that just because it feels "too harsh" for your aesthetic.
