TURNS out, both season 1 of daredevil and jurassic world were released the same year right? well, according to their wikipedias, filming for jurassic world took place between april and august 2014. and daredevil between july and december. so donofrio had to go from his character in jurassic world to KINGPIN sooo quickly

id love to see him do a cameo as Robby's brother or cousin or similar

to me Noah Wyle and Brendan Fraser could and should play relatives at some point. they're similar in age and height, and are well known for their brash, confident, and commanding characters

it could be a brief moment where Robby goes to talk to his cousin about something, we hear him say a line or two in his signature rumble, and get a brief glimpse of him on the other side of a pillar, with robbys back to us

or it could be as complex as a bit where Fraser shows up as a patient or head of a hospital division come down to consult. there's comparisons, maybe jealousy on both his and robby's end thinking the other has a better life. they both of course suck at communicating and expressing emotions, probably dont talk much if they can avoid it. the pittlings and residents thinking how cool Fraser is and thinking about what it would be like if HE was their attending instead. in this world Fraser's character is good at exuding and fronting as suave, charming, and put together, until we see his edges fray...

I've been rewatching the mummy movies and my brain processed Rick calling Evy "sister", and made me think modern rick would fit right in with Robby and Jack and their "brother"ing

then came the mummy 2, and I realized I could TOTALLY see robby as rick in a mummy au. especially his awkwardness with verbalizing his feelings

but also

-dennis as evy. That infectious curiosity and enthusiasm to be included, with a dash of bumbling that we love

-santos as jonathan, but we make her dennis' sister in law (or similar). and she's less comedic and more chaotic and brash, but still causes things to happen

-abbot as ardeth bay? the comradery, ardeth understanding rick's temperament and being ready to be there after he KNOWS ricks gonna do stupid shit

-gloria as beni maybe? i'm just imagining her using her logic to work for imhotep
