Digits draped in fine golds and silvers forged to rings and chained uncurled from the arms of the grand throne that the Lady sat herself upon. The light patter of foot steps sounded that hollow walls of the cold manor that little called home. A ‘tsk’ rang through from the stranger that approached, but that stranger was all too familiar. “You let your sparks fad, M’lady.. A true pity.” Scoffed the empty voice.

The Lady ran her hand over the fine fur cloak that covered her person before she dared reply to the dangerous stranger that lay before herself. “What a true surprise, Crylliva, here to reclaim my,” The word was drawn out before she finished, “Empire?” The Lady’s head tilted to the side as she questioned the woman.

The stranger replied in scoff as gloved hands moved to run over the fine crafted pillars, and the edges of portraits that decorated the walls. “Of course not,” The hands recoiled from the walls as they gestured toward the stranger’s self. “I am but a lone bounty hunter here to only serve the great Lady Rosebrook.” In a fluid movement, the stranger dropped to one knee in a grand bow. The Lady only replied in smirk.

This happens a LOT. It’s like people need to be in a relationship to validate their characters in some way. I have no issues with romance plots or even casual sex on occasion, but it’s crazy how quickly someone’s demeanor will change when they learn your character isn’t available for romance.
