Printing a boxset slipcase for the high fantasy webcomic Chirault!
On account of how quickly the initial copies sold out, I've retroactively decided to make my first stretch goal be a reprint of my Shenanigans minicomic!
This 48-page short story is set about 20 years before the main story of Chirault picks up. It originally released in 2012 on the website (where it can still be read), in between chapters 13 and 14.
So it is possible to interpret it as Astrid telling Teeko about these events while they travelled to Aerquist via airship... or maybe just thinking about them while telling her something else about his childhood growing up there. :)
Anyway, because of the reprint, I've removed the limit on the amount of minicomics available as add-ons on the Kickstarter!

I am urging you to vote NO on the 19-bill online safety package in the House Energy and Commerce committee. Barely anything in this bill protects kids. Most of these bills are age verification bills, which Republicans and the president opposed in Britain for the fact it mass-censored conservative speech online.
How are you going to protect kids if you are going to force them and everyone involved to upload all their government information to the same Big Tech companies you want to protect them from? How is giving Mark Zuckerberg the private data of millions of minors across the country protecting them? How does that make sense? the best way to protect your health and well-being in 2025, amidst a pandemic that is severe but now ignored (not to mention a bird flu pandemic is brewing with an estimated 50% mortality rate if it mutates toward human to human transmission), is to wear a kn94, or even better, an n95 mask in your day to day life, as often as possible. sometimes is better than never. it's truly my top health tip.
i followed the research from the beginning, as i watched what happened to me happen to people en masse (the chance of postviral illness from each covid infection is somewhere between 10 and 30%. every time you get sick you're rolling the dice on lifelong disability).
because of learning this early, i never took my mask off. i have not had as much as a cold since 2019. cannot recommend it enough. it's wonderful to not get sick and it's wonderful to not pass it on to others. i will gladly wear a mask in shared spaces as long as I need to. it helps prevent organ damage, brain damage, increased likelihood of heart attack and stroke, and also helps prevent damage to my immune system that covid can cause.

"Sen. Mike Lee has introduced the SCREEN ACT, a bill that applies the "harmful to minors" standard used to ban LGBTQ+ books and resources in schools and libraries and apply it nationally to the internet.
Any site that has any amount of material "harmful to minors" would be forced to employ surveillance tech (biometric scans, ID uploads, background checks) to prevent minors from accessing "pornography."
You will not be surprised to learn that this is backed by the Heritage Foundation.
Unlike some of the state age-verification laws, many of which are being challenged in court, SC will be enforced by the FTC, which has the ability to levy fines, raid business and freeze bank accounts. Yes, meaning that even non-for-profits like Ao3 will suffer.
