So hey!!! I've just launched a Kickstarter campaign, and this one is to make a cool slipcase boxset collection for Chirault, my complete high fantasy webcomic :D
I've wanted to have some sort of cool boxset edition for YEARS, like ever since I finished the story....so this yeah, I want to make it happen. And you can help, by sharing the campaign around!
So the campaign has hit its goal already! 🎊🎊🎊 I thought I wouldn't be here so quickly, but I guess its time to think about stretch goals...... so I will have more news soon.
Printing a boxset slipcase for the high fantasy webcomic Chirault!
On account of how quickly the initial copies sold out, I've retroactively decided to make my first stretch goal be a reprint of my Shenanigans minicomic!
This 48-page short story is set about 20 years before the main story of Chirault picks up. It originally released in 2012 on the website (where it can still be read), in between chapters 13 and 14.
So it is possible to interpret it as Astrid telling Teeko about these events while they travelled to Aerquist via airship... or maybe just thinking about them while telling her something else about his childhood growing up there. :)
Anyway, because of the reprint, I've removed the limit on the amount of minicomics available as add-ons on the Kickstarter!
If the campaign hits $9k, all the tiers will be getting a brand new sticker added to their pledges :D I hope we make it, because I love stickers... Here's a peek at the design!

The installation consists of 1,200 glass shards, each of which is aligned by hand. The train is moved centimeter by centimeter and each new glass shard is turned into the correct position so that the beam of light is directed to the next glass shard. As soon as the train starts moving, this creates a chain reaction of light...

Trump Administration is pushing to repeal an act that protects the internet
Section 230 protects websites from being able to be sued for user content on their platforms. If the Trump Administration appeals it, websites, especially hosting websites like social media or AO3, would have to self-censor to avoid being sued for user content.
It only takes a few short minutes to call your representatives. Call here (you're given a script!) to protect the internet from censorship and age verification bills like KOSA. Just takes a few minutes!
For more information or to quickly call with a script, go to badinternetbills.com
Date: February 2026
Also this like??? We need to bring awareness. (Id in alt)
If you want to stand up for transgender Canadians, then there's a petition to ask the federal government to repeal the acts signed into law that restrict transgender medical care for transgender youth:
You need only be a resident of Canada, not a citizen to sign. Please help us give transgender youth a fighting chance. Their medical care decisions should be between the handling physician and family only. This isn't a matter for politicians to decide.
hey, so I would he grateful if people living in Canada could sign this and if non-Canadians could signal boost, please.
The petition will be closed for signatures on February 16, 2026.
This needs to be boosted.

REPUBLICAN VERSION: (pretend you’re GOP)
I am urging you to vote NO on the 19-bill online safety package in the House Energy and Commerce committee. Barely anything in this bill protects kids. Most of these bills are age verification bills, which Republicans and the president opposed in Britain for the fact it mass-censored conservative speech online.
How are you going to protect kids if you are going to force them and everyone involved to upload all their government information to the same Big Tech companies you want to protect them from? How is giving Mark Zuckerberg the private data of millions of minors across the country protecting them? How does that make sense? There are 19 separate bills on this in the package that most people have never even heard of before.
On top of that, KOSA is still a part of this bill. We need to hold Big Tech accountable, but KOSA is not the solution. How is Big Tech against this if Apple, Microsoft, Snapchat, and Twitter all support it? Any state attorney can sue any website for “harmful” content. Do we really want blue state lawyers deciding what can and can’t be allowed online? That’s why they support KOSA. This is massive government overreach. We need a bill that actually protects children by creating better security measures instead of more censorship and surveillance.
What parent would want their child’s private data in the hands of strangers like this? Do NOT support this package. Thank you.

DEMOCRAT VERSION:
I am urging you to vote NO on the 19-bill online safety package in the House Energy and Commerce committee. Barely anything in this bill protects kids. Most of these bills are age verification bills, which hundreds of human rights groups including the ACLU oppose.

the best way to protect your health and well-being in 2025, amidst a pandemic that is severe but now ignored (not to mention a bird flu pandemic is brewing with an estimated 50% mortality rate if it mutates toward human to human transmission), is to wear a kn94, or even better, an n95 mask in your day to day life, as often as possible. sometimes is better than never. it's truly my top health tip.
i followed the research from the beginning, as i watched what happened to me happen to people en masse (the chance of postviral illness from each covid infection is somewhere between 10 and 30%. every time you get sick you're rolling the dice on lifelong disability).
because of learning this early, i never took my mask off. i have not had as much as a cold since 2019. cannot recommend it enough. it's wonderful to not get sick and it's wonderful to not pass it on to others. i will gladly wear a mask in shared spaces as long as I need to. it helps prevent organ damage, brain damage, increased likelihood of heart attack and stroke, and also helps prevent damage to my immune system that covid can cause.
wearing a mask should not be a badge of shame. wearing a mask is an affirmation that our lives, all our lives, are precious and we all deserve to be protected from harm. please consider a mask. your life matters and the damage covid causes is so severe people are making comparisons to HIV/AIDS. i know the messaging isn't telling you this, but the research is, I can assure you. covid causes what is called t8 cell apoptosis. your t cells are a vital part of your immune system, and covid has been shown to cause the death of these cells.
your life is so precious. my life is so precious. please consider masking up.

masks and helmets that hides someone's face in such a way that they become the face themselves my beloved
these are all creatures to me
Angel of War, angular and strange, gleaming silver and gold, Angel of Wonder, pure and one-eyed, looking to stars new and old, Angel of Harvest, simple and hidden, bring nature's sweetness to all, Angel of Health, mysterious and fine, beacon when life starts to fall, Angel of the Deep, crooked and cage-like, guide us across the sea, Angel of Solace, protect us from evil, lead us to where we are free.
Was inspired by the previous post a while back, and had been working on this on and off for a long while.
You can see the full-resolution versions on My Patreon.
I love all of these. The angel of the the deep's wings are canvas, held up by an anchor. The angel of war's wings are blades, and its shield is a coffin. The angel of solace is a mutant, its arms deforming into wings. Geiger counter in hand, it guides us through the danger only it knows. Was this angel once a man? Corrupted now beyond hope, he can at least save others from the same fate.
this shit is so incredibly cool that i cannot and refuse to attempt to properly articulate it
Stop Bill S-209’s De-Anonymization of Every Canadian Adult
Just in case any of my moots/followers are Canadian
Guys, it got so much freaking worse. KOSA is bad, but SCREEN is even worse, somehow.
Text for S.737 - 119th Congress (2025-2026): SCREEN Act
"Sen. Mike Lee has introduced the SCREEN ACT, a bill that applies the "harmful to minors" standard used to ban LGBTQ+ books and resources in schools and libraries and apply it nationally to the internet.
Any site that has any amount of material "harmful to minors" would be forced to employ surveillance tech (biometric scans, ID uploads, background checks) to prevent minors from accessing "pornography."
You will not be surprised to learn that this is backed by the Heritage Foundation.
Unlike some of the state age-verification laws, many of which are being challenged in court, SC will be enforced by the FTC, which has the ability to levy fines, raid business and freeze bank accounts. Yes, meaning that even non-for-profits like Ao3 will suffer.
This is something for all US users to keep on their radar. Call your reps, call your senators, and spread the word to protect our archive!"
- When talking with Republicans play up the fact that this would force Elon to implement age verification systems on X (yes do call it X during the call). Elon's been threatening to primary Republicans who stand in his way so there's fear of him. Also play up concerns about "Liberals" doxxing people or Chinese hackers.
- When talking with Democrats, play up the connections to Project 2025 and suggest voters will not be happy to see Democrats siding with it.

well this fucking sucks
imagine having to dox yourself because you made the mistake of watching a 4 hour mighty morphin power rangers retrospective and the ai decided you were 14 and not 42 like the actual demographic for those videos. sad
like this obviously sucks if you're an adult who enjoys watching animation or doll youtube videos but also i don't think youtube should be tracking 16 year olds because they're afraid of them hearing the word "fuck".
notice how all this censorship crap is happening at once? :)
ever since that right wing religious extremist organization Collective Shout targeted and manipulated payment processors (that are already run by right wing nutjobs) to go after steam and itchio, all this shit is starting to happen at the same time
it may be a tactical "overwhelm bomb" to make people feel powerless, and yeah it may not be that, but it's kinda strange that it's happening all at once
regardless, people need to start calling the shit out of mastercard and visa's phone lines even more
yall in the US need to start calling your representatives about KOSA especially
and people in the EU need to start calling whatever equivalent of a representative they have about all this bullshit as well
companies are now going to start trying to capitalize on invading privacy that has literally been protected for so goddamn long all because of these evil fuckwads that honestly need to get a nail put through their skulls
fucking make a fuss about it. complain the fuck out of shit and flood their goddamn call lines
what YOU can do to fight KOSA
KOSA, or the Kids Online Safety Act, is back after failing to pass last year. If history has taught us anything, blanket censorship poses a very real danger to marginalized peoples including the LGBTQ+ community. Because it's never about the kids.
The best time to fight was yesterday; the second best time to fight is right fucking now. So I've scrounged like a stressed-out raccoon in an unattended garbage bin to dig up a few resources you'll hopefully consider to be helpful.
🪶 Contacting your representative is probably the most obvious step. The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) has made this easy as shit with a webpage that will message your rep for you. The page provides a template you can use as-is or edit freely, and a short form asking for your name, address, and contact information.
KOSA is an alarming bill that would enable censorship and violate young people’s First Amendment right to freely access information. We must
Not that you can't also reach out directly, which I do encourage because the whole process is pretty routine. To find out who to contact, you can look up your House Rep on the official govt site.
🪶 Consider also signing other petitions and supporting organizations dedicated to fighting for a free and open internet.
In addition to the ACLU, I highly recommend Fight for the Future...
Who are we? We are a group of artists, engineers, activists, and technologists who have been behind the largest online protests in human his
... and the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF).
Defending your rights in the digital world
I've also seen the Stop KOSA petition floating around, if you'd like to throw your name into that hat as well.
Stay vigilant and keep fighting, internet enjoyers.
